Very clean and nice place to stay. The staff were helpful and there is a night security man every night too. The beds were comfy and the showers were AMAZING, definitely the best hostel shower I have ever had. Breakfast was toast, fruit and coffee :)

Very clean and tidy. Staff seem to struggle to communicate with a smile. They are assisting though. Toast, coffee and tea in the mornings. Had trouble fitting my charger in the provided plug and had to charge it downstairs. Many guests seemed to have this problem. The dorm doors lock and they have someone at the front door 24/7. Which is nice if you come in late. I would definitely stay here again. I couldn't find a hot shower here.

Really great location for this hostel and the little kitchen and free tea and coffee is always a pro. It was quite quiet and not to social but this was kind of good as Penang is a busy place so it was good for a detox.

    Very Good

Stayed there 2 nights and the big bad part it’s if you are in the top bed there is nothing as security so if you move a lot you can just fall from your bed and the 4 bed dorms are really small so not a lot of space for your backpack. The hostel is a bit noisy late in night So it’s a good hostel for 1 or 2 nights max But the good part is staff there are really nice !

You get what you pay for here. Complication when arriving due to booking through hostel world (apparently they don’t take booking from here anymore). This meant my friend and I were split up for the first night. The staff were reasonably nice but not always. I would stay here again as overall it was a nice hostel but our personal experience wasn’t great.

5 minutes after arriving my girlfriend was electrocuted due to a faulty light in the bed she went down to ask if it could be fixed had to ask 2 they said someone would come this afternoon. No one did she then spent an hour trying to explain what had happened and 2 days later they took the light from another occupied bunk to fix it. Showers barely worked, we were there for a week bins got changed 1 Toilet roll was never replaced. No shoes allowed but floor constantly filthy. Was also mold in bed

In three months of travelling in Asia, it was the worst experience for me. The staff are really not friendly and if you want to ask something, you felt like you shouldn’t disturbed them. No smile and when we arrived, no one shows us around or give any informations. Also, the staff just chill in the commun zone, so you don’t have your place in there. However, the beds are comfy and the place is well located, but if you return to the hostel before you go to sleep, you’ll have to return to the room

I had a confirmed reservation with paid deposit. They told me “sorry, we are fully booked, we don’t see your reservation, there is no bed for you, you can ask in other hostels”. So yep, I don’t recommend. Fortunately I’ve been there midday so I managed to find another place. But can only imagine how difficult a situation like this can be, if you try to check in late evening.
