Clean and excellent location. Clean sheets. Lockers available. Kitchen space. Good for quick stay. Quite a quiet hostel. The beds seem abit flimsy but they are alright. People tend to get the bottom bunks first so we ended up on the top ones. Quiet at night.

The most comfortable hostel, you can sleep peacefully, gorgeous staff, and polite. Fantastic location to all tourist attractions and most busy nightlife spot in the evening. Comfortable beds and no one disturb you in the morning you can check out at 12am. They will not disturb you if you are late for few minutes. Very mature place and management. And it feels like hotel not a hostel.

Great location. Helpful staff. Didn't have all the facilities of latest hostels like bedside drawers. The kitchen was adequate but quite small. It was more old-school, like hosteling used to be. Fabulous old style hostel. I'd stay there again i n the blink of an eye!

Although the check-in should be available since 3 P.M. - when we arrived to the hostel at around 3.30 P.M. we found an announcement that the reception will be back only at 4 P.M. If they would let us know in advance, it wouldn´ t be a problem. However, the location of the hostel is perfect - in the almost very heart of Riga, so everything was reachable by foot (in case you like walking) :) I always appreciate free coffee and tea. On the other hand, there was only one bathroom per 2 big rooms.

Perfect for a weekend away. Cheap, clean, right amongst loads of bars and friendly staff. Well the receptionist was, wish I could say the same for the cleaner. She was a miserable old hag. The hostel mascot is a cheeky chap, so if you don’t like cats just keep the bottom windows shut or you’ll end up sharing your bed with the little bugger. All in all a pleasant stay.

Good location - right in the downtown. Cleanliness can be better. The staff was helpful - they assisted us in getting a taxi to the airport. Good hostel for one night.

This is a good location and clean beds. The receptionist Jana was great. No common area so this hostel isn’t terribly social.

NO COMMON AREA: not social. there is no common area, only a tiny kitchen. If you're a solo traveller (like me) I would book else where. Bathroom was clean, water warm, beds clean, beds not sqeeky. Great otherwise and good value for money.
