Really welcoming, helpful, felt like part of the family. Wicked tucked away location surrounded by both tourist and local culture.

Great place to stay! The staff were lovely and welcomed us with a glass of tasty mint tea, the free breakfast was good and filling, the showers had super hot water, the beds were comfy and the wifi was strong! had a good experience and would definitely return.

Just an example how inhospitable ...breakfast 1, I say "Any tea, or coffee?" Boss`s Answer "No". Next breakfast, ask the helper the same q. Same abrupt answer. Come down to breakfast 3, see two lady moroccan guests with tea. And the boss himself sat next to them , drinking tea. He sees the surprise on face face and says "What?". I say I am surprised , and add "If I was drinking tea in my house and you were my guest I would offer you some". His English was fine.

Although the location is extremely convenient, I would not recommend this hostel to a friend. The dorms are extremely small and there´ seems to be only 1 usable restroom. The bathroom is dirty and in need of a deep clean. The faucet in the bathroom is broken. When I arrived, the owner said he had no rooms available. However, on hostel world, it showed that there were 4 beds available. I had to make my reservations online and then show the owner before I was able to enter. Strange.

Whereas the location could not have been better (I was literally in heaven because it was I nthe middle of a market and I love those sorts of things), the staff was a bit standoffish. The hostel also did not offer many activities to partake in while you were there. Breakfast was available.

The hostel experience in this hostel was disappointing as we rent 2 beds in a 6 bed en-suite room but the bathroom was use by 9 to 10 people that were in other rooms. When we ask for the toilette to be clean, they said that they had cleaned it but they only used air freshener. There were not proper lockers for the bags and the electricity plugs were not properly distributed in the room.

filthy room, mouldy bathroom, stains on everything, dirtiest kitchen. I have never come across Someone as rude as lady in reception, practically spitting “no” at us when I asked for a key to our room she refused to give us a key to our own private room or to the hostel, where we had to wait 10 minutes to have the door answered every time. She wouldn’t return our passports after the second day with them when we needed to swap currency and yelled “it’s not my problem you don’t speak my language”.
