I absolutely enjoyed my stay there, awesome owner and staff. Very nice and polite, helpful, They helped me to order a taxi for the whole day for my trip to Volubilis. I absolutely recommend Riad Idrissi, you won't be disappointed. They also make amazing traditional Berber carpets, jewelry... just ask, you might get a good price for it ;)

Wow. I am so glad to have stayed here. The best was comfortable, the room was warm, and I had an amazing view. The owner of the riad and his family were also extremely kind and welcoming. He made sure I knew where everything in Meknes was and helped me make a trip to Moukay Idriss and Volubilis as well. The only issue I had was leaving the riad in the early hours for my train because my message got lost in translation and the doors lock from the inside meaning that I had to knock for a while.

This is a beautiful establishment, with friendly folks. And ask the host about his family's handwoven rugs for a special cultural experience!

Abdel is really welcoming and helpful and the other staff/family members very friendly as well. The location is very good, inside the medina, but easy to find if you approach from the garden (Boulevard El Haboul). Excellent value for a single room with a comfortable bed, electric heating (much needed in December) and ensuite bathroom. I would totally stay again and recommend it to my friends (who are like me and don't expect luxurious).

Beautiful riad with a very nice terrace and pretty rooms with heaters. Location is great, just tell the taxi driver to let you out on the side of the park and not near the main square, then once you find the Riad and drop your luggage, you can have fun finding your way through the medina to the other side.

Riad Idrissi is based in the old medina and is at a walk-able distance from the main central area of Meknes. It is a very spacious place with plenty of rooms for guests and dual terrace to hang out. Although not included in the cost of the stay the home cooking is an added bonus of Moroccan cuisine with generous sized portions. The WiFi is decent most times and only struggles when there are a lot of guests present. The owner aims to please and has a shop like area for any gift hunters.

    Very Good

    07 Jan 2019
This place was beautifully decorated and I had a very nice talk man-to-man with the owner after I had dinner there on my only night staying in Meknes. I thought it was quite difficult to find the Riad though, and had to pay a couple dirhams to some kids to find my way back there at night (and my sense of orientation is quite good). The staff was helpful, although I felt a bit pressured to buy some crafts, but that is alright. Meals were nice although a bit expensive for the small portion.
