The Jennah Rouge Hostel and it's host Medhi were excellent. I found it a comforting, relaxed home base to explore Marrakech from. The roof top sunrises were amazing.

Our experience at Jennah Rouge was excellent. The hostels is very cool, authentic and the location is spot on. There is a relaxed atmosphere and it’s very comfortable. The free breakfast is also very decent. The host Medhi made our stay unforgettable. He is very hospitable, welcomed us with Moroccan whiskey and was genuinely interested in who we are and where we came from. He helped us to book our tour to the Sahara and welcomed us home afterwards . Great hostel, great guy!

Medhi was great and helped me a lot with advice, taught me about Moroccan culture and shared some great music. The hostel is chill and comfortable; a peaceful retreat in the madness of Marrakech. Would stay again for sure. Thanks!

Made a great choice when we decided to stay here for our time in Marrakech. The location is very good - really close to the main square, so we found it very easy to get straight into our day’s activities each morning. The real highlight, however, was our hostel host Medhi. He was one of the most personable and time-generous hostel staff members I have ever met! He spent lots of time telling us about Moroccan culture and giving good advice for our stay. He greatly enhanced our experience!

My friend and I stayed here four nights. Appreciated the help and attention of the guy who works here (sorry, forgot your name!)... he works very hard for the guests. Hostel is clean but not of a high grade... somewhat dingy, poorly lit and cold (during winter). Room smelled of sewage. Nice terrace though.

    Very Good

Excellent location- few minutes away from one of the Medina Gates- so no need to hassle in the labyrinth of the Medina. Tasty breakfast. Easy-going and helpful staff. Negative side is the sewage smell. We staid in one of the shared rooms and it smelled badly. Also the bathroom door that is in the room itself does not reach the floor so you could hear all the noises pretty well, contributing to the stink also.
