Amazing hostel with really friendly staff. There is a cool bar on the bottom floor which gets quite lively in the evening. Also, there was a pleasant lack of stags which was nice. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and they also provide a towel which is great as a lot of hostels don’t. Genuinely one of the best hostels i’ve stayed in in Europe. Thanks guys!

The Riga Old Town Hostel & Backpackers Pub was a great hostel. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were clean. It was very convenient having a pub on the ground floor too. Totally recommend it!

Overall an amazing stay. The Staff where super nice, and helpful in any way possible. A nice bar downstairs where you can party and get too meet other people. The facilities where clean, and so where the beds. It also has a big locker. Would really recommend it! Only drawback is that they start playing music early, and you can hear people from the bar at night. So maybe not the place for you if you are looking to find somewhere quiet to sleep.

I had a great holiday break staying at Riga Old Town Hostel & Backpackers Pub. There's actually not a lot of rooms, which is a welcome surprise - this meant not a long waiting time when using the common toilets and shower stalls. The location was excellent and the staff where very helpful. One thing to note is that they don't have a kitchen, but that's not really a problem since there's a ton of food options just going out. The bar was awesome with great music and beer selection. Cheers!

Definitely a party hostel because the first two floors are for the bar. Pretty loud overall, so if you’re looking to sleep, maybe try somewhere else.

The description of the hostel is pretty honest. It is rather noisy at night until the pub bellow closes (I think it closes at 2 a.m.) and it does not have a kitchen facility. There is also no common room just for hostel guests. The only common room belongs to the Pub and you can't eat or drink your own food and drinks in the Pub, so it is rather complicated to eat at the hostel. As to the rest it was a really nice hostel: secure, clean, perfectly located and nice staff. Definitely recommend....

This is not a hostel. This is just a bar with a few dorms. No hostel facility at all. No fridge, hair dryer, couch or chairs. Just a bar. The management fails to provide proper training to new staff and leaves them on their own. Because of that mistakes happened and I was woken up at 2am by staff and guests and was told that I was by mistake assigned in a wrong room. The staff was nice and apologetic. The next day I left and stayed at their sister hostel, Wicked Weasel, which is AMAZING.

an excellent base for exploring Riga. Free towel was a nice touch. No kitchen, so breakfast is a beer/cider or tea/coffee/soft drink. Comfy beds. Not super quiet but it’s above a pub so that’s to be expected! Showers were spacious with hot water and good pressure. Free luggage storage. Would stay again

It's a PUB+hostel so it got really NOISY until 2 am. No facility provided (kitchen, common area, etc.). Don't even have a clean tap water to drink but you can buy water in a supermarket which is quite cheap. The upper bed is very high so you can't just sit on the bed while the lower bed has a lot of space. For safety aspect, the staff provides the wristband which is only for guests but they never ask for that !!?? There is welcome drink and morning drink which is the only good side I found here.
