Property Description

Pack your bags and come over to discover it and live a unique experience at Rom Casa, My Khe Beach, Danang.

Rom Casa is named aptly. The word “casa” means “home” in Spanish, which is exactly what Rom Casa aims to be for travelers--a home. Despite being built in renovated containers, the feel of a traditional Vietnamese house remains, making travelers feel at ease. Adding to this is a common room with many board games, a pool table, foosball table and some musical instruments that you can play, a courtyard with BBQ area for you to grill some delicious veggies and meats, and a rooftop terrace space for relaxing with a large library. All these things contribute to your awesome beach experience.

Ideally located between the Han River and Da Nang’s best beaches (300 m from My An Beach), ROM Casa gives you access to all that the city has to offer and is easy to reach with the international airport only 5km away.

Made out of renovated shipping containers, the hostel offers all the necessary facilities in an amazingly stylish environment. A sophisticated decor combining a traditional countryside design to an industrial and modern look.

The hostel offers nice selection of foods and drinks in the bar. Breakfast is available for your choices with local and international menu. Within walking distance many food options like Vietnamese, burgers or even pizza, we have many places to recommend. Downtown and the main city museums are just 10 minute ride. Don’t be shy and ask our lovely staff, they will be happy to give you some tips about what to discover in Da Nang and the local culture.

ROM casa is also the perfect starting point to go wonder around some of Vietnam’s most beautiful gems. The Marble Mountains are only 6 km away and the famous town of Hoi An only a 30 minute drive. View House Rules

This was a great surprise, you’re kinda staying in colourful big shipping containers, kinda funky. I booked double bed just for me, still shared showers and lav. Very clean and fluffy towels. Sheets are soft and comfy bed. AC great lots of settings. I was above the bar on 3rd floor and the music is extremely loud esp when there’s live singing so make sure you have ear plugs if you just wanna sleep. Didn’t have breakfast can’t comment. WiFi not so good in room 306. Would stay again tho.

Awesome! Can’t go to Da Nang and not stay here. The rooms are made from shipping containers but really comfortable. Had no problems at all. Food was great from their restaurant and the staff were awesome! One guy, name pronounced Hi (haie) was so nice and such a great guy it felt like being with friends as soon as I arrived! So close to the beach and food it was perfectly located.

A fun and unique experience. Booked a private room and it was great. Shame about the random power outage 1 day (nothing to do with hostel). About 5 mins from the beach and some cool bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend. Staff were super friendly and caring to our every need

Walls were super thin and you could hear everything. Didnt drown out any construction sounds in the morning either. Great location and helpful staff. They helped me to book a bus to my next town and were always helpful with questions I had. Would recommend along with earplugs.

Everything was good except WiFi which didn't work on my floor. I also had to change my room because the key didn't work.

The hostel had a really cool and quirky design as it was made from shipping containers. The staff were really helpful, and helped us organise all our tours/buses for a much cheaper price than other places. The restaurant/bar area was good too, and was very cheap. There was a nice atmosphere at the hostel but it wasn’t very lively, so if you’re after a party hostel I would not recommend here. Hostel was a 5 min walk to the beach, but you would have to get a taxi to the city centre.

The containers are certainly cool to look at, but the rooms are very cramped. Sound travels very easily through the containers, and if your room has a glass wall, light may shine into your room through the curtains. The area was interesting as there’s a lot of construction going on. Thought it would be nice to stay by the beach, but I’d stay either more in the city or more north next time to enjoy Da Nang.

Really cool with the shipping containers and great location if you want to be beachside and there’s lots of good cafes/restaurants/bars around. The hostel has 0 vibe though, the bar never has anyone in it and there isn’t really anything to bring people together (ie breakfast, family dinner, activities etc)

Wasn't impressed by this hostel at all. The room is tiny! With not where to store your bags. The beds were comfy and provides a blanket and towel. The security was confusing. I had to ask a staff member for help to use the locker. The lockers have a universal code. This code is on the cafe wall making the lockers pointless. Myself and others had a hard time using the keys to the room. This should be looked at. Not much of an atmosphere. Staff spoke zero English. Not tours advertised either.

Give this place a miss. The staff are unhelpful (also woke everyone in my room up one morning by banging on the door to allow someone to check in at 7am), there are rats running around downstairs due to the open plan entrance design, the rooms are very small and you could have a much more pleasant experience in another hostel nearby for half the price that actually includes breakfast. The showers on the top floor also take a very long time to get warm and are essentially a dribble.
