Property Description

Welcome to PLUS Camping Roma. We provide better value for money and facilities than any other hostel in Rome.
Camping Village Roma is the closest campsite to Rome's historic centre and offers all types of accommodation to suit every budget, from shared house tents to private/shared cabins (twins and triples-quads and fives) with ensuite bathrooms – some even come with a fully equipped kitchenette.

Our spacious two-bed tents include bed linen but not towels. Bathrooms are located outside the tent and were recently totally renovated.

The twin private rooms are modern, ensuite cabins which can comfortably sleep two people. They feature their own shower and toilet, storage, bedding, towels, heading, air conditioning and electrical outlets.

The four-bed and five-bed private rooms are spacious mobile homes, each with two rooms (one with twin beds and a bunk bed and one with a double bed) as well as a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, air conditioning and heating, a fridge, bed linen, towels, storage and electrical outlets. It's a perfect accommodation to stay with your friends!

If you prefer shared accommodation, the mixed ensuite dorms are modern cabins that sleep up to three people and have their own shower, toilet, storage, bedding, towels, heating, air conditioning and electrical outlets.

The three-bed shared mixed tents are spacious house-tents with three beds; one is a bunk bed with a sliding door that you can lock with a key. Bed linen is included, but towels are not. Bathrooms are located outside the tent and were recently totally renovated.

If you book a non-ensuite room, you are booking a bed in a house tent which is equipped with very comfortable beds. Blankets, bed linen and pillows are included in the price.

This was the second time that we had stayed at Plus Roma. The first time was a better experience as the Superior dorm we stayed in was new. This time the Superior dorm had problems in that on arrival the air conditioning didnt work and neither did the TV, we spent the first two hours of our stay getting these things sorted. The air con still did not work properly. The door to the shower did not stay closed, so not the best room sadly. The rest was as good as our first experience. Great food.

Location is way out of the centre but I was aware of this when booking. No communal kitchen so you are forced to eat at the restaurant. The check in process can take anywhere from 10 minutes to half an hour.

If you're looking for a cheap stay for a couple of nights this is ok. It's not close to the center of Rome. The directions I was given to my room or not what correct. I was told it was on the Via Helenski which was was wrong because I could not access my room from Via Helenski. I had a few days break between my stay and when I came back on Sunday evening it was raining but they didn't ask a lift up to my room and it was raining hard.

Awkward location. Not handy to main transport. I had a 3 person bungalow, the cabins are tiny and there was no option for a female room. I was very lucky to of had no one else stay in my room with me for the night as I can imagine if I had to share with two males of any age that I would of felt very uncomfortable given the size. Power plugs are in lockers over one bed, difficult to charge your phone, it would disturb the person sleeping under the lockers. Shower was amazing though and tidy

The first night I stayed, there were ants in my bed, the toilet leaked, cabin shakes quite significantly when someone in the night one moves and someone checked in late to the room that night, around midnight. The second night I stayed, on a separate booking, different room, my bed had no sheets, no pillowcase, no towel, PowerPoint did not work, bathroom window was broken, bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied, blue liquid was on the benches, the railing on bunk didn’t lock in place and was wobbly

Located too far out of town, the bungalows I stayed in were situated in a very noisy area right by the road. For the size of the camp ground the reception is far away. I locked myself out of my room one night, walked all the way to reception to be told (in limited English rudely) to go back to my room. I waited outside for half hr thinking someone would come, no one came. Eventually a young chap offered to break in for me, turns out you can easily slide the windows open so security not great.

This camping ground was really disappointing. My door to my room was cracked, the window was broken. I wasn’t allowed a blanket on the first night neither was my roommate as they had run out so we were given sheets. We then didn’t receive any bedding the 2nd time I stayed. My toilet was leaking, the beds that pull out from the wall are barely safe and the customer service was non existent. It’s also almost an hour from the city. Do not recommend at all. The only redeeming quality was the pool.

the sheets were covered in stains, there was blood stains on the wall and room smelt like BO. The cleanliness level was appalling. We left immediately and did not end up staying there. The receptionist was very rude when we brought up our concerns, and did not try and fix the problems. The rooms are also not cleaned daily and if you want it clean the charge you 25 euro. Would not recommend this camp site.
