Unbelievable location. With a large sitting room with enormous windows overlooking the lake. The building itself is beautiful. Rooms were clean. Bedding comfortable. Showers a bit tight ( could have used a shelf) Our room has windows with screens so we were able to crack them open but others did not which makes it inconvenient for midges. Food was decent and reasonably priced but the kitchen available to guests was enormous and well appointed. Overall a great place to stay.

I stayed there for one night while I walked the WHW. Such a beautiful building at a really picturesque location. Large kitchen, equipped with everything you need. Beautiful lounge with nice views of loch lomond. The drying room was very useful. Really helpfull staff. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside is, that the room (6 bed female dorm) was very small: No lockers and almost no space to put the luggage somewhere.

Nice hostel and fantastic location. Our only problem was the food which was limited in choice and average. I had the butternut squash curry which was tasteless and my companion had the pork stew which was similarly poor. Portions were small and service was totally disorganised. The breakfast was okay but as we were leaving at 8.30 I noticed the staff were bringing out croissants which were not available for the majority of the people who had paid for breakfast and had it earlier.

Good location for those walking the West Highland Way. Room wasn't too bad, but not enough space for 6 walkers and their bags. There wasn't anywhere to lock your bag away and only a double socket in the room which was a bit of an issue. The catering was good, just very unorganized; the place felt understaffed for peak season. Toilets and showers could have been cleaner though.

There are not many options in Glencoe when walking the West Highland Way. This is a perfectly fine hostel, clean and all the facilities you need. Beautiful views from the lounge area. Glad we walked back to the pub for dinner as the hostel food looked like... hostel food.
