Very nice stay with friends. Owner was very hands on and conversational. All the place was cleaned regularly and cozy. The only thing which wasn’t great was the WiFi speed.

The place was nice, rather compact. The rooms seemed clean, as well as the bedsheets. The showers were regularly cleaned however I think that due to the flooring style they didn't look as clean as they could be. The common rooms are quite small but serve their purpose. This is also where one would have the all-day included breakfast, with a selection of cereals including oats, toast and jam. It would have been excellent to have a tub of peanut butter on top of the jam 👌 The staff were nice.

Phil the live in manager was very friendly. Basic hostel, quiet and empty but still managed to get chatting to someone using the hostel whilst volunteering and another travelling Europe. Bathroom was a bit smelly and the bars on the windows cold, bedroom smelt of feet (don't know if that was an individual or the room!) Had a simple but nice breakfast. Thoughtfully alternative to cows milk provided but no decaff!

The location is great, the building is good but the staff are extremely rude, the male he is always around and it acts like a stoker, the female who leaves in the hostel thinks that she owns the place and as she lives in the same room as the guests are staying she doesn’t let us sleep properly as she is very noisy, disgusting and not polite at all...

Didn't feel safe, didn't get any sleep, not particularly close to the city centre and not that clean. The woman who checked us in came into our room at 2am and started watching a movie from her bunk. She kept on shouting 'Jesus Christ' in an aggravated tone, it was so weird. None of us slept at all between her shouting and blowing her nose, I wish I was joking. Also, there was a man sleeping in the hallway, not nice for female travellers. I wouldn't ever stay here again.

Very weird. First thing manager (or "boss man", as he called himself), said to me was "ID PLEASE", the hostel isn't a hostel, it's an office space with beds in it. Walls very thin. Wallpaper peeling off, dead bugs squashed into the blinds, no sockets near the top of the bed, had to charge my phone at the foot of the bed. Windows make a very loud and weird sound when it's windy outside. Slept with all my clothes on as place was too weird. Better to spend an extra £25 for a room at premier inn

Throughout my stay, I did not feel like I was staying in a clean facility. The restroom was always sticky and dirty with human excrement and I found black mold on the back of the shower. Based on the conditions of the restrooms, I did not want to eat or spend more time than necessary in the facilities than I had to. My bed was clean, comfortable, and I was provided with a sizable locker. However, staff was not very friendly and motivated me to be in the city centre as long as I could.
