Pleasant little hostel! I was happy I was able to park my car right in front of it. Easy access to Brno and the rest of the region.

First time in a hostel and was excited! Great location next to the tram and near the center. It is small like an apartment but still they have managed space so well. We slept at the bedroom with 3 beds and every bed had a huge locker room under to secure our stuff. I was a bit scared about hostels, especially about stealing, but I felt super comfortable and like home. After check out they kept our luggages (💖) so we went walking without carrying them 😁

Helpful guy to welcome me but there is not always staff around. Very small hostel which could be good for meeting other travellers but was not really the case while I was here. Always very clean and good wifi. Only one bathroom for everyone though so sometimes a queue!

    Very Good

We didn't really enjoy our stay at Ruta 80. Our beds were very noisy. The rooms were very hot and it smelt after old clothes. The location of the hostel is good. You have many trams around this place and you can also explore Brno center by walk.

The "dorm" is not actually just 8 people since the 3 people in the "private" room require crossing this space as well. Basically it is all one area...which means more foot traffic and noise. Other guests should be reminded to be more considerate since both loud talking and smoking invaded the dorm space late into the night and early. Given its size, not having a host around is to be expected -- so long as you note this when planning*. Also, shared facilities = single toilet/bath for ALL.

The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately that is about the only good thing I can say about this ´place. I have stayed and worked at multiple hostels around the world and this place is the bottom of the barrel. If all you need is a place to crash out, and dont really care about anything else than this place could work.

I think that if you are alone like I was, ruta 80 is not the best option. The area was dirty and I didn’t feel safe walking there in the night. The entrance is also sketchy. The hostel itself was okey. There were many beds in one room and half of the guest had to walk through the room I was sleeping in to get to the next room. There was also just one shower and one toilet for all the guests.
