Clean, comfortable, and friendly hostel convieniently located near lovers lane. Hostel runs free or cheap activities such as going out for dinner, hikes in the national park. Rooms are away from the street and are quiet. Extended my stay and would happily stay again!

Good location, staff, breakfast and nice and clean. There’s no real atmosphere as there’s not really a communal area and no way of meeting other people. The atmosphere was the only let down for me!

Amazing location, right next to lovers lane! Showers and loos were well maintained and the AC was great after a long day in the heat. Corridors can be a little loud but we were next to the stairs. Everything you need to enjoy Penang.

Pro’s: This hostel is nice and clean with free breakfast, nice staff and a great location close to all the restaurants and bars but not close enough for it to be loud Con’s: There is absolutely no atmosphere. It’s very hard to socialise and meet people as there are no social events. There is definitely an older crowd who stay here who are relaxing. If you are under 24 I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Overall, good value for the price. Room had no window facing outside so was very dark ( even during the day). Breakfast was very good

Nice clean hostel with friendly staff. The only thing I would say is that it isnt a great place to meet people. The bar isn't really a bar and social activities arent well put in place or organised. It's very quiet here (which may be good for some people) Also the fish in the bowl out the front need shade as they literally are just cooking in the sun but used as an ornament. If you are reading this and staying there soon, please hassle them about plants for shade in the bowl

Hostel is located just perfectly, close to the major attractions and streetfood market. I lacked a little bit help with trip organisation (but in Georgetown this is one of the main problems). Otherwise staff were friendly and breakfasts best we had in Malaysia (still no perfect, but diverse - no just bread and butter). Room unfortunately so full of beds that you could barely turn away.

    Very Good

Absolutely no atmosphere. Staff unresponsive and not interested in engaging at all. No information shared and talking to them is like pulling out teeth. Shout out to staff member Ken who organizes trips and initiates conversation but he appears to be part time. Air conditioning gets really cold at night and sheet provided is inadequate. Location is good.

Hostel location was perfect right by Love Lane and nice bars and cafes. Especially for the price. Not much action going on but theres plenty to do that we only used the beds to sleep in. However if you're looking for a decent bed this is not the place. Was disappointed that the mattresses basically felt like cement and the pillow like a brick... especially after long days exploring it was not ideal. Other then that everything was grand!
