I enjoyed my stay very much in Slow Citi. Comfortable environment, friendly staff that can speak several languages, good location lastly simple but hearty breakfast ~ A place that is truly a home away from home! Highly recommended !!!!

The staff was phenomenal! Great place to stay. My only recommendation would be to encourage all their guests to me respectful about noise at early and late hours of the day.

The owners of the hostel were probably the most friendliest people I've met in all of my travels. This felt like a home away from home.

The staff were extremely helpful! One of them Ari speaks very good English and she even showed me around. However, i was a bit shocked by the size of the private room and how simple it was. Other than that, everything was good! I had a good time there.

I thought this hostel was just fine. Good for a quick couple days in seogwipo. There's one thing I think should be addressed. A sign in the mixed dorm stating "please be aware of your menstruation cycle LADIES ONLY" I found to be very offensive. I believe it should be taken down. 1) I paid a deposit 2) I can be aware of my cycle, that doesn't mean I won't have an accident 3) are your sheets really worth this bs?? Don't I go through every as a woman?

Quite a good hostel if you wanted to stay in Seogwipo (which is more scenic) as opposed to the busier Jeju city. Staff was friendly but hostel has a rule to not use the common room after 11pm (due to dorms being directly next to the common room) which is a shame as while we are not partiers we do like to stay up and have a chat. Good facilities (coffee maker, cups, kitchen etc), and staff included a very nice lady who could also speak chinese/cantonese.

The manager guy is so nice, but his English isn't perfect, so sometimes had to find other staff for any queries. So much to do in the area though. Standard free breakfast, everything was nice and clean. Didn't end up socialising with anyone although would have liked to

    Very Good

Not too far from the bus stop that takes you to and from the airport. Overall the hostel was fine, there were two things that I thought were strange. First, there's a sign on the back of the door in the rooms that says women should be mindful of their cycle which I think is very crude and disrespectful to women. And secondly, they have no sheets for the beds. Which is probably why they make the above comment. Apart from those two things it's clean, and a decent hostel.

    Very Good

Okay staff. I had no interaction with the owner/manager throughout my entire stay. There was a Chinese girl who spoke English pretty well. Great location in seogwipo area with lots of restaurant options. Very basic breakfast- toast, jam and cereal. Atmosphere was lacking. Lot of people traveling in a group stayed here during my stay, they were no sociable. Very few backpackers. There's a curfew, all the lights off in the common area at a specific time. Bathrooms downstairs smelled funny.
