This was my first hostel stay and I absolutely loved it!! Staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the hostel itself was very inviting. The location was wonderful, it wasn't far from the Ginza, Asakusa lines and Tsukuba Express line. I was recommended this hostel by a friend of mine and I would definitely recommend it to others.

This was an excellent place to stay! I’m so happy I made reservations here, because my overall experience was great! I’m definitely coming back here next time I come to Tokyo! There’s only 2 little black marks in terms of that’s a little bit tucked away from some areas that I wanted to go, and coldness often in the room and hallways, but that’s a small price to pay compared to what you get from it. And free breakfasts too? Hai! (Yes) this place gets a very high score for what I got out of it!

This hostel is very inexpensive for what you get. I stayed for 1 night. It is near a temple but otherwise you will need to take a bus or metro to see most other spots on Tokyo. It is quiet at night for sleeping and each bed has a curtain with a real mattress (along with a mattress topper). Wifi is good, many different access points to connect to. Bathrooms are pretty clean and there are security lockers in each room. Breakfast is white bread for toast with fixings, coffee, tea, other beverages.

    Fabulous

This was a lovely place to stay and was so close to main shrine. It had breakfast included and good value for money. The hostel room was clean and safe had to use a key card to get in. The staff were really helpful and really enjoy my stay. Only one down side is for JR pass holders it’s a pain to get to. We took narita airport express then took the Yamamoto line to Ueno that part was free. Then you had to take subway which you had to pay for to get to Asakusa ( ginza line).

Lovely, easy stay. Good location in a special area of Tokyo. The 24hour metro pass is excellent. Breakfast isn't much, but the value for money is already great. Bathrooms are fine and the beds are comfortable enough. I will be back.

the hostel was a bit old in comparison with other hostel in tokyo that look like from the 90s. there was a bit of a strange smell near the bed. have to walk across an open corridor to get to the bathroom which can get a bit cold during the winter. power plug often loosen when i want to charge my phone. There were loud noises near the hostel at times when it was late.
