I loved how relatively close this was to everything happening in Asakusa. The place was clean but the bathrooms left something to be desired in terms of cleanliness (generally smelled bad and had to deal with someone smoking in the toilets). Also, the curtains leave a small crack on top so people could easily take a peek while I was sleeping. Offering meals was a great touch though, some of the staff was friendly and common area had a chill vibe.

The staff and location were amazing! And to be able to have a full kitchen with spices was good too. The bathrooms were a bit dirty as in the counter tops and sinks. And the beds were the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on and I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels. It was like sleeping on the floor. The pillows weren’t great either. But everything else was fine!

I had to sleep in the airport on my last night but I could still do lots of sightseeing on my last day as I can leave my big backpack in the hostels basement. Was awesome

    Very Good

Nice staff. Close to the Tsukuba Express but a long walk to the Ginza (Tokyo Metro) line. It's very close to a nice temple complex, but otherwise not the most interestinf neighborhood. But it's a short metro ride to Akihabar. Beds are metal frame and creak whenever you shift your weight and also lack good handles for climbing up/down. Lockers are a goo size. I didn't really like the vibe. It seemed like some people were staying for a long time and kept their stuff in messy, piles in the room.

The hostel is reasonably clean, secure and staff seemed helpful. It didnt have a great social vibe while I was there, location isnt really in the centre of things but its quite close to a metro stop, dorm bed price is fair

Slow wifi. It was clean and in a nice section of Tokyo. A little dated (showers, beds) but I would stay again if necessary. Directions : The one on their website is not relevant is you use the GINZA METRO LINE. So, if you use the GINZA METRO LINE : Take Exit 1, walk straight across street in front of you. Go straight one block and on your RIGHT is a red gate. Walk thru gate all the way to temple. Then follow the directions from the website.
