Wonderful hostel! More like a hotel, very clean with modern look and feel. I booked a private room, with an AMAZING shower and clean bathroom. Toiletries were included, and the free breakfast was the best I had in Peru (bananas, bread with spreads/cheese/etc, hot beverages). Management and staff very friendly, and they had no issues with storing my bag on my last day, and letting me hang out in the lobby until my train later in the evening. Fast wifi too. Would definitely recommend!

Whoever says the shower does not work properly is lying. Dont think i've had a better shower in England! Nice comfy room. Only shortfall is the the uphill climb back to the hostel after a day of climbing at Machu Picchu.

After long travels, this was a wonderful place to relax. At first the blanket appeared dirty but they were very quick to fix it. Good beds, clean hot showers, fast internet, and easy to get to from the train. Would stay there again as it seemed more like a hotel than a hostel.

This hostel was definitely more like a hotel - got given towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer in the private. The bed was really comfy and everything was clean. Breakfast in the morning was simple but tasty and filling. We only stayed one night so weren't able to get a feel of the atmosphere, but it was a nice place to stay after machu picchu. Best shower I've ever had!! Hot water and great pressure. :)

Good and clean hotel but 1. in one of the two booked rooms, the shower had only dripping cold water, i.e., showering was impossible because it was too hot 2. for the price paid, the hotel could have provided us some slippers (the floor was too cold) - when we asked for slippers, the employee declined and laughed at us..

We had a nice one-night stay here. Rooms are secure and quiet, but with very little common space, it feels more like a hotel than a hostel.

Sometimes shower was warm. Sometimes not so warm. You have to wait at least 2 minutes. Service slow at check in. Had to wait. The breakfast was amazing - they pack it for you to go if you would like (perfect for your visit to Machu Picchu). It consisted of a ham and cheese sandwich, peach juice box, granola bar, oreo cookies, small peanut butter chocolate bar, banana, and a granola fruit! Laundry service is good - 2h. A lot of seating in the spacious lobby.

Disappointed, my room smelled horribly when I closed my windows (of course, they were widely open when they showed me the room). Really disgusting, I had to sleep with open windows. Not much of an atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helped me, gave me an early breakfast bag, but a little disorganized - forgot to pick me up even though they promised it. I don’t know if that’s just the reality of hotels in Aguas Caliente, but would not recommend or go again.

I booked two nights on Hostelworld. They had my reservation, but didn’t have a room for the first night so they sent me to a lower quality room at a nearby hostel. The second night was not terrible, but the toilet broke in the middle of the night. When I went to pay upon my departure, they informed me of the 10% surcharge to use a credit card. I was unimpressed with this hostel and had a pretty negative experience overall.
