LOVED this accommodation. The people are lovely, rooms are clean, location is great, and view is awesome. It’s worth the value. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

The view here is everything!! I was so taken back by just sitting on the deck overlooking the city drinking cocoa tea. We stayed here hoping to have a quiet night before a 4 day trek to MachuPichu. It was just as expected. We slept great, room was warm, and shower was hot (had a two bed private room). They stored our bags for us while on the trek which was super convenient to not bring unnecessary gear hiking. Overall, I would stay here in a heartbeat. Some cool cafes and restaurants close by.

Excellent place, very nice view over Cusco. Hot water, good wifi, heating during the night. Helpfull staff. One thing: make sure to compare the tours prices with other companies... Excellente sitio, tranquilo, con una vista impresionante sobre Cusco. Staff muy amable. Una Cosa, sobre las ofertas de tours: asegurense de comprobar los precios con otras companias

To get to the hostel you’ll have to climb many stairs, but it’s so worth the views! Best shower a hostel could have. It was perfect after hiking the Inca Trail for 4 days. Breakfast is small..includes bread, jam, banana, coffee & coca tea. It was wonderful to be picked up at the airport by one of the staff after landing in Cusco. They also allowed us to store our luggage while trekking for 4 days. Laundry is available for 5 soles/kilo. They do it all for you AND FOLD IT. I recommend!!

While I didn't make any new friends here due to lack of facilities, which is important for a solo trip, it was warm and safe after big days out trekking etc. I do not recommend booking a tour with James. I did, because i was concerned that MP was selling out across my limited stay, it was WAY over priced and it was a private tour, I preferred to be in group. He also advised that 6 hours in Aguas C was ok for exploring. I Hard to pay an additional 50 US to catch earlier train on the day.

Pros: nice staff, beautiful views, rooms have character. Options for breakfast, but it is at an extra cost. Cons: rooms small a little stuffy because it's an old building. The charge for anything other than just bread and coffee for breakfast. The hostel is at the top of a very long staircase up a hill. It makes for beautiful views, but it's a pain to get to with your luggage, and I just had a backpack. Overall: I would probably stay here again.

Overall, it was a good stay. It was a little further away from plaza de armas (but definitely walkable) so I ended up moving closer to the center after a few days. Didnt think it was a very social hostel. Lost an item in my room, not necessarily hostel's fault, so just keep your valuables in the lockers.

Staff were really nice and helpful but the room was damp, very cold and not the cleanest.
