This was a perfect place for our short stay in Bangkok as we were able to both see the local neighbourhood and the tourist attractions within walking distance-KhaoSan Rd, Wat Saket(Golden Mount) and ChinaTown. The hostel itself is very clean and the staff are very friendly and always available. The receptionist gave us really practical tips with going around Bangkok. He also let us hangout in the common area after checking out and doesn't charge to look after our bags. Loved the free coffee too!

One of the best hostels I've stayed at in a while: extremely clean, great location (quiet but still close to Khao San Rd and bus stop), really fast WiFi and plenty of power points. The only two things I would say is the beds are extremely hard and the staff that were there for the 6 nights I was there didn't speak any English so it was hard to communicate with them, but they were still friendly enough.

Perfect location, walking distance to almost everything I wanted to visit. The staff did not speak any English but could communicate what was need well enough. It’s quiet at night. The mattresses were very hard, but for the price it is great.

A really great hostel and nice stay in general but the staff didn't speak a word of English which made it hard to communicate and get help.

Two years ago I stayed at this hostel and it was the best experience I have ever had. When I came back they had changed owners and it went really downhill. It’s the simple things that make a hostel great. Patio furniture. Clothing hangers in the showers. Receptionistst that speak English. Toilet paper. Etc. it’s really sad to see what something I love has become.

The staff literally spoke no English. At all. How can you work in a hostel and not even be able to help us pay? Was initially overcharged for room which I pointed out (didn’t take off website deposit). Rooms ok but air con off all day. Was given a locker key but the locker had no lock in it? Pretty rubbish. Location ok but bit out of way but quiet which we liked and still walkable to Khaosan.

I don’t think this hostel is open anymore. We arrived in Bangkok at 2am and tried calling them twice to get the directions (our taxi driver called and an employee at another hostel called), but the number was disconnected. We had emailed them a few days before our arrival to insure that they knew we would be coming in late, but we never got a reply. When we finally found the location, the gate was locked and the buzzer was broken. We checked the next day and the place was still locked.
