Such a wonderful place. Maria is wonderful, she is like our grandma looki after us. The hostel is amazing, you must to share bathroom, but you never see no one using, and it’s like home. The breakfast is really nice , and Gozo the best place ever. I will be back there for sure. Thank you.

Quiet little place in northern Gozo run by an extremely friendly and helpful woman. Free breakfast and easy bus access to the rest of the island. We rented bikes in the town and went along the north coast.

Anna is an amazing person who runs the hostel and takes care of its guests! The place itself for me was very poetic, I loved staying there. Location is perfect, few minutes to the sea, the town is super cute as well. Breakfast did not really suit my preferences but there is a kitchen where you can cook your own food. So not a problem at all! If I was in Gozo again, I would definitely come back to stay at Santa Martha. Thanks for a warm welcome Anna!

I stayed here predominately because I was diving out of Marsalforn and wanted something close to the dive shop. I stayed for two nights in a single room. The room was clean and adequate for my needs! There is a shared bathroom but I never ran into lines or queues. As others have mentioned, it is less of a 'hostel' social feel and more of a quieter hotel feel. If you are looking for a quite couple of days in a small, local beach town, this is the place for you! Great value for money. Maria is a caring host who will give you advice on what to do in Gozo and will do her best to attend your needs (lent me extra towel and offered still water when needed it). House and rooms are simple but quiet and comfortable, only the bed was a little creaky. Breakfast with drinks, toasts, yogurt and cornflakes is included. The location is great, 5 minutes from Malsaforn centre with plenty of restaurants and the beach. You can go anywhere in the island combining 2 buses.

The whole house was freezing, colder than the outside. One of the nights we spent there was really windy and the door was opened for a good part of the night slamming the door all the time. I found the vibe not welcoming either. Maria was very nice but checking on us too much. Also we couldn’t leave out luggage on the reception on our departure day as she said she was closing that day, not that it was her fault but she wasn’t very helpful and it affected our trip.
