I was the only guest in the hostel during my 2-night stay. The host is a charming and knowledgeable lady. She is very helpful and gives very clear directions. Breakfast is continental and wholesome. It is the best value in Gozo.

It was very pleasant staying at Santa Martha. The host was very caring and it is incredible how the whole house and stays are managed by her. One of the good memories is to be able to cook there and eat your food. Location is also great, it's not at the city centre but it's in a great calm location with beautiful spots to visit.

More like a basic hotel- with single/ double rooms and shared bathroom. I enjoyed being there, was calming. It is actually very big. The kitchen is small but there is a large eating area, large sitting area up and downstairs. It is definitely not a noisy place and you could hear a pin drop. The owner is the only worker there and she runs the whole place keeping a firm eye on everything. 5 mins to beach. 17 euros, breakfast included, private room. Bargain!!

Nice and homely hostel in a popular resort town. The owner is very kind, welcoming and in the know for cool spots to see in Gozo. Private room was comfy and simple with fans provided (it was autumn but still pretty hot at night). It's a great hostel for solo travelers as a base to set off from and explore Gozo - there's heaps to see and it's all pretty accessible by bus and on foot. Only downside is there wasn't much of a social scene and often you'd only see other travelers at brekky.

More like a bed and breakfast. Nothing special, nice room to stay at. You get to have your own privacy in the room. Nice shared kitchen and bathroom. The host was very adorable.

I have mixed feelings about my experience. On one hand, the owner is a very sweet, kind older lady that seems to run the whole place by herself. She tries her best to make you feel at home and puts so much effort into her work. However, the actual rooms feel like cement boxes with uncomfortable beds. The showers and some facilities were broken. The house itself was very old, and not in a quaint way. I wouldn’t book here again.

In general the hostel is fine, bit outdated. The hostel is really not clean. It’s full of dirt on the floor. The old woman is very friendly but she does not clean the house.

the owner is very nice. However, I was creeped out. This is not a hostel, it’s rooms to rent. My bed was still in the thick plastic packaging with a sheet tucked on top, pillow lumpy, I woke up with thumping headaches each day. There were blobs of dust all over my bedroom wall, very dirty. Breakfast is cheap and nasty white bread with jam, & cornflakes. There is no “front garden”, the internal “courtyard” is blocked off, little light. The owner wrongly talks up the description.
