Campbell at the front desk was a real sweetheart and overall Saucy Mary's was great. Be sure to ask about the history behind the name.

It’s wasn’t much of a long stay because we ended coming in real late bc of the ferry closure. It was a nice hostel with all the facilities it included.. the was fine expect with the acception that it had a strong Oder of illegal substance to it . So I don’t know if the other couple that was there did anything but it wasn’t a good one. We didn’t say much bc we weee very tired after driving for almost a few hours trying to go around the bridge. Breakfast was good...

Very good location, and the Spanish girl at the reception is great. The hostel itself is great as well but the Saucy Mary's pub where we are supposed to take breakfasts is really bad (staff not welcoming AT ALL in the morning as in the evening, average food and very specific kitchen time).

We had a fun stay at Saucy Mary’s. It’s a good base to explore the Isle of Skye and the pub had a really great vibe, good food and cheap drinks and we had a lot of fun there. Have the sticky toffee pudding.

I stayed a few nights in October so not the peak season (in some ways great!) so there wasn't many people around hence why no atmosphere. On arrival, (late evening) I was greeted in reception by a guy who was very friendly and helpful which was great. As I stayed in a private room, I didn't feel it was the best of value as leaning towards bit expensive. The view from the room was lovely!

Helpful and thoughtful staff! Enough toilets and showers. No lockers!! Kyleakin is close to the Skye bridge but far away from everything else. Found it a bit expensive but it is Skye in summer. Found the room to be a cold and damp, even my quick dry items didn’t dry overnight.

Sweet location, facilities near by. Room was great with a view and beds comfortable. Sound proofing between rooms wasn't amazing.

We arrived early on our check-in day hoping to drop off our bags before we were allowed in our rooms. Whilst we were able to do this, we were met by an unpleasant and sarcastic character on reception. Rooms were adequate. Showers and toilets plentiful but the former were almost universally flooded, with no mops available. Kitchen was quite poorly stocked regarding utensils. The 16" pizza in the restaurant, despite being widely advertised on Skye, does not actually exist. Laundry costs £12.

For the twin bedroom, shared bathroom (possibly by 8 people!) it was over-priced. The room didn't even have a washbasin. Another £10 would have got me a real BnB en-suite. Staff, especially the lady in the restaurant, were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was so so - cold beans, un-cooked tomatoes. Although it was included in our room, they were charging £8 for the full Scottish breakfast, which, I though, was too much. Otherwise the room and house was clean. Not recommended.

The shower on the second floor is not working well, it is very difficult to have a normal temperature of the water. The location is not so beautiful.
