Very cozy place in La Candelaria. Felt very at home. The Hostel is basically an old and pretty house with four guest rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful, the beds comfortable, the rooms and showers clean and breakfast plentyful. We enjoyed our stay and would definately come back! Thank you :)

The hostel owner, John, is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. Our bags arrived late and he sorted out their return, particularly getting up at 3am to get them. This and other things made our stay at Sayta great!

We booked the deluxe double-bedroom apt which is located in anther building approx. 2mins by foot from the Sayta Hostel. The apt was very spacious and clean. The owner of the Sayta hostel was just great. He helped us organizing tours and had great tips of what to do and how to get around in Bogota. We would definitely cone back.

Good location, beautiful area near lots of the street art, local food market and a square that has music on weekends. Generally a quieter hostel, but with a nice social vibe within the downstairs communal area. Nice staff, with local recommendations on the food/coffee front. Clean, simple rooms. It was very quite one night but got busier later into my stay. Thank you!

The owners were amazing - so friendly, and they gave us great directions and advice. Free breakfast and coffee all day were wonderful, and the kitchen was well equipped for making our own food. Rooms were clean and cozy. Hot showers were a treat too!

Not a bad hostel, offers good showers which is rare in Bogota. Staff were a bit stale, but for a good nights sleep I would definitely stay here again.

A hostel that truly misses its potential. Nice charming house, but atmosphere is close to none. Staff do not make a real effort to integrate guests with each other. A lack of good English spoken by staff means that help is hard to find. Breakfast is frequently served late. Staff are nice but very unwilling to go the extra mile. The hostel should find an English speak volunteer as it has so much potential. If you are a solo traveller definitely avoid this place.

I stayed in the private room on the main floor near the door. It was very noisy both from people coming/going and the noise from the street. Was unable to lock room when I left, so despite it being a private room I had to leave valuables in the lockers located in the common area. The shared showers were dirty, with mildew on the curtains. No shower head, water shot out like a hose. And water was never any more the luke-warm. The wifi was painfully slow most of the day. Was not a great stay :(
