Such a beautiful location. The mountains surrounding are picturesque. It was also the safest I’ve felt in any city. The staff and members if the community are friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to back. Can’t recommend enough

Lovely staff, however its a shame there's no working stove though I understand that guests have been the reason why there aren't any functional stoves at the moment!

Really love our stay here, waking up surrounded by alps and waterfalls. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the overall vibe of the place was calm and nice. Would have liked better cooking facilities.

Having to pay a little extra for a hot shower should not be a turn-off for anyone! Still an amazing hostel in the most beautiful area and it actually makes sense that it costs for hot water as they are literally heating the water that comes from the river/glaciers.

Absolutely loved this hostel! So affordable for backpackers and so perfectly located. Was greeted by lovely staff and even got a thank you chocolate when we left. Staff were extremely helpful with booking activities for our stay and tips on where to go. Would definitely stay again!

Cute hostel with the most amazing views you will ever get. Literally walk right outside the room and you can see a giant waterfall across the way, and hear cowbells in the morning! So surreal. Spacious dorm rooms with single beds (no bunks!) so feels very cosy and homely. Friendly staff who will help you out, and comprehensive laundry/shower/bathrooms, and a good kitchen too. Next to a bus to take you into the centre of Lauterbrunnen, but only a 10 minute walk alternatively.

Amazing place! People moan about having to pay for showers and hot plates but to me its all part of the experience! You truly feel at one with nature here. The reception staff were great and helpful, she took us to our room. The bar and facilities were good as well! We had a private room so I can’t comment on security facilities but if you want to wake up in a location straight out of Lord of the Rings then this is the place to stay! Lauterbrunnen is absolutely stunning.

Beautiful location in Lauterbrunnen. You wake up to the sound of cow bells and waterfalls. Kitchen facilities were basic and had to pay for, there’s no stove top. The 12 bed dorm was very basic, however what you would expect for “camping” facilities. Had to pay for a hot shower, but I was happy having a cold one. Staff were friendly. I’d stay again and would recommend to people who are happy with “basic and essential” facilities.

GORGEOUS location, but the facilities aren't as good as a lot of developing country hostels I've stayed in, despite being the most expensive hostel I've stayed in. Extra charges to use kitchen appliances and hot water in the showers. The urinals leak onto the floor around your feet. The guy who checked us in was really friendly, but the cleaner burst into our room twice without knocking while my girlfriend and I were in bed. Signs everywhere claiming no responsibility for facilities not working.
