Lovely place to stay. Very trendy with lots if places to relax. Bathrooms and showers were ace. The smoothie bowl for breakfast was great, as was the avo on toast. Breakfast cheap, drinks quite pricey. We read it was a party hostel but it was quite family friendly with a relaxed vibe. Treehouse and swinging seats were a great touch! More like a hotel than a hostel.

Probably the most amazing hostel I’ve stayed in in terms of facilities and value for money. The beds are so comfy and you get a proper duvet and a curtain for privacy. The pool and bar area is lovely and it’s all very clean. I was, however, expecting a more sociable party hostel vibe but the bar was empty every time I visited it and there were a few families with kids and older couples staying there so as a solo traveller I found it harder to meet people than other places I have stayed.

This was the first Selina hostel I stayed in and i was really impressed! The facilities and grounds are beautiful. The dorm rooms were clean, and the curtain, light, and private locker made everything really handy. USB charging bedside meant no fussing with adapters too! While there was one night a bunch of other people had a party in their room above - It’s not really a party hostel vibe... so those looking for a laid back place to relax after a long day of hiking should look no further!

I arrived after a long ride on a night bus in the very early morning. Had to wait all day in the library to be able to check-in. Everybody constantly walks in the luggage storage so it does not feel very secure to me. The food was super bad! I never had a vega burger this bad in my life. It is clean, there are hot showers, it is in walking distance from the main square of Arequipa. So overall, except for the first day, my stay was okay

I’m a big fan of lux hostels so was enticed by the pictures for the one but buyer beware! They had a big, open to the public event while we were there that seemed mostly for locals and a nuisance to guests- gate wide open for anyone to come, random people walking around (security risk??), guests not able to use the facilities promised, loud music til late at night, no prior notice. Security was lacking, staff was rude, and no community feel AT ALL. Definitely do not stay here if solo traveling!

A BIG party at the hostel meant we had NO sleep. We arrived at 5am with many other guests and were all told that we could cancel our bookings because of the party but Being so early we opted to stay but were not told the party was from 7pm-6am! This info should have been given well in advance of our stay and not on the day of arrival. Hostel itself is pretty. Staff are not very helpful. Bed was comfy. No discount offered for lack of sleep. The Party left the hostel very dirty the next day.

This is one of the worst experiences we’ve had. It looks great in pictures but is definitely more style over substance, though nice comfy beds. They had a party and blasted music until 5am (it was 2am the night before). I don’t mind a party hostel, but this was next level loud and not aimed at hostel guests. There is no sound proofing so you can’t sleep through it. Of the group who left with us at 5am the next morning, no one got any sleep and agreed it was an awful experience and badly handled.

Staff are rude, not helpful, weird atmosphere and generally disappointing place. It’s a family resort which is not what it says on the description. Not welcoming and definitely wouldn’t recommend for solo or any travellers looking to meet people. Also it looks like a chilled hostel but they throw random party’s only locals are invited too so watch out.
