Good stay here. The dorm rooms were clean and there are plenty of showers and toilets, so I never had to wait despite it seeming pretty busy. The bar on the rooftop is overpriced, but it's in the centre so to be expected.

My friend and I loved our stay at Selina Oaxaca. We stayed in a private room which was HUGE. The bed was big, the bathroom was perfect. The rooftop bar was a vibe and the location was perfect. The only downside was how loud it was - every car that went past sounded like a roar, but otherwise wonderful! Can’t wait to come back!

Great location right in downtown Oaxaca. Close to many cafes, restaurants, shops and main attractions. Loved doing the free waking tour which meets daily a few blocks away from the hostel. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and had lockers to keep valueables. Enjoyed the rooftop deck to practice yoga or have a beverage. Cozy areas to sit and use the wifi or chat with other travelers. Staff at the front desk was helpful in coordinating taxis and making local recommendations.

This is a good choice to stay in in Oaxaca City! The location is perfect, only a few blocks from the center of town and most of the tourist activities, with lots of bars and restaurants close by. We got a private room and it was basic but clean and nice. The roof is great for hanging out and the location felt very safe. Other guests were pretty stand offish though, and there was not much of a community feel that you get sometimes in a hostel. Would still recommend if that doesn't bother you!

Very nice hostel with good security and loved the rooftop bar. Absolutely beautiful hostel with wall paintings and a nice little cafè. The location was also perfect. Only bad thing was the bathroom, it wasn’t very clean and some of the facilities didn’t even work, other than that a nice place.

Excellent facilities, location, wifi, showers etc. only thing is that the menu is overpriced but I think that’s to be expected in a chain hostel 😊 otherwise I’d a great night there

Tolle Lage. Frühstück für den Preis war leider echt schlecht. Kaltes Rührei und die Wahl zwischen Saft oder Café Americans. Cappuccino zum Aufpreis der nicht schäumt.

MY HONEST OPINION? Don't stay here. Not worth it. 8-10 bunk room was DARK, NO NATURAL AIR (fan on 24/7 to have relief from the heat/ventilation), Loud/Rude guys were talking at 1 & 4 am. The BAR keeper upstairs was RUDE. I was smoking a natural herbal smoke, and he assumed it was WEED. Said I couldn't be up there on the bar where everyone was SMOKING CIGARETTES and drinking ALCOHOL cuz the cops dont like weed. It wasn't even weed, I reiterated to him. Interrupted my Sunset Meditation.

Great location and cute looking, but with no community or personality. Staff are cold and impersonal, and there is no place to gather and meet others. There's a nice roof top with a bar, but it's open to the public and is always blasting a new DJ so you can't use it as a place to connect with other guests. Wouldn't recommend for solo travelers. Nice that they had so many bathrooms, but the beds don't have any privacy and you aren't getting much for your money. You can find better in Oaxaca.

There is no where to chat and sit at night. You are only allowed in your rooms although there is a large terrace. They were also extra strict on irrelevant things eg. Where we ate our take away pizza
