This is the third Selina I have stayed at while traveling through Central & South America, this Selina had the best Decor out of all of them thus far. The hostel has a chill vibe with its beautiful courtyard and rooftop bar. The staff was kind and when the key card system went down (for several hours) would tirelessly trek up to each floor to open the door for a guest. The only thing that could have been improved is including heavier blankets because this wasn’t included in the main price.

Beautiful hostel in a prime location. Very clean and comfortable. Like most hostels the music and partying is really loud at night. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The rooftop bar is lovely and there is one supreme bartender up there but i didn't get his name. You will know who I mean. I was a bit frustrated with the girl who worked in the bar as she was painfully slow and would talk on her phone while serving tables. The architecture of this hostel is beautiful.

Really nice Selina, great location. The only thing i did not like was there is no kitchen guest can use, far from that I really recommend it

Selina hostels in general have a cool system, making the dormitorios well-equipped with a light and a plug to charge to charge your phone at every single bed. The selina hostel in oaxaca has a few faults in my opinion, for one, they don't give you a key to the rooms so every time you want to get in, you either have to knock and hope someone is in the room or ask the people at the reception to open for you. Also, there are few bathrooms, and a kitchen to cook and store own food is missing.

Lovely hostel with great decor and lovely friendly and helpful staff. There was no communal kitchen and it was difficult to know who were general public from those travelling as no dedicated areas for travellers to chill out. Nice rooftop terrace but times of use are restricted. Lovely ace but needs to make its mind up as to whether it’s a boutique hotel or a hostel - lost some of that hostel magic.

As a solo traveler, I wasn’t a big fan of this place since there’s no kitchen and no chill area that is welcoming enough. So didn’t socialize with anyone during my stay. However, everything looks great and stylish. I do think the dormitory’s bathroom could be a cleaner.

This hostel depends what you're seeking. It was actually one of the most comfortable beds I had so cheers to that. Hostel was clean. However the social vibe was terrible. I felt like I was inconveniencing the cold receptionist by asking questions about basic info he should have offered himself. The crowd leaned toward unfriendly tourist groups which further didn't help. Not a single person spoke to me there and I never have a problem socially. No kitchen, pricey breakfast available.

The hostel employees stayed up until 12 blasting music in the empty bar upstairs, they treat you like prisoners and are constantly telling you what you arent allowed to do in their hostel. The hostel shoves 10 people into a tiny room with one tiny bathroom and barely any space to move around or get at your shit. they also lock the main doors at 11 and someone got locked out so they banged on the door for an hour at like 2 in the morning because the security guard wasnt there. Idk it just sucked.
