Amazing! The best hostel I've ever stayed at. It felt very luxurious and everything looks like the pictures. Everything was very clean and all of the staff were very nice. I loved all the common areas they have to sit and relax. Also, the curtains on the beds gave so much more privacy. Wish I could go back!

Love Selina Porto. The bunks were very comfortable and nicely fitted out with a lock box, light, 2 sockets and a curtain. Beds were very comfortable. Room was cleaned daily. Only quibble is the ensuit had the toilet and shower in the same room in an 8 bed dorm, which is a minor problem. Fantastic Hostel that I would love to stay at again. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Hostel is wonderfully set up with different areas and in a great location.

Amazing, amazing hostel! This is a great place to start your Porto experience. We had just completed the Camino de Portuguese to Santiago de Compostella and we were in dire need of a tad of luxury. The hostel room had its own 'private' bathroom. The mattresses were soft and comfortable and there was a curtain in front of every bed to provide some privacy. The only issue we had is that our door did not properly lock. Otherwise we loved our stay. We were especially impressed with all the events.

Possibly the nicest Hostel I've ever stayed at. Large outdoor green space with very comfortable common areas. The location is suburb and while it rained the 2 nights I was there, I was happy to chill in the Hostel pub and restaurant. Staff are excellent although a cleaning lady barged into my room unexpectedly. 2thumbs up if staying in Porto!

The atmosphere and aesthetic of Selina Porto is AWESOME. However, that's about all that is nice about it, along with the location. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and nice-looking but not good quality: my showerhead was broken, the lock on the bathroom was stuck, and toilet paper and paper towel were not filled when they became empty. The staff was not very friendly or helpful; asking them for advice and recommendations felt like I was bothering them.

    Very Good

First of all: this place is as stylish as it appears on the pictures and videos! Also the location is good, not in the touristy downtown, lots of amazing restaurants/bars around. BUT: the atmosphere is nothing like a hostel. For me as a solo female traveller, it was not possible to meet other people, like you do in hostels usually. There were no events/activities, the cinema room is being refurbished, other things only subject to subscriptions, etc. Also the staff is not very interactive.

    Very Good

This was my first time staying at a hostel. The first room they gave me was mostly clean but there were some ants around the room & a slight mark/stain on the covers. I was able to change rooms. A staff member comes in everyday to clean the bathroom. Located near nice restaurants & about 10 minutes from São Bento train station. Not an extremely social environment, but this may differ depending on who is staying while you are there. Overall a good experience.

Nice room, nice hostel, decent location. I’m not sure if something bad had happened that day however as all members of staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. I felt like an inconvenience. I was repeatedly ignored by several members of staff when I arrived to check in. Also, I did not realise that the hostel is also like a nightclub on a Friday night, therefore I did not sleep well as it was so noisy. I much preferred the ambience and staff attitude at the Ports Inn.

The facilities were Very modern and clean. However, most of the staff were very rude, especially the smaller woman working the bar; everything was an imposition to her and I got multiple eye rolls, despite being polite. I rank it low for "Value for Money" because there is no breakfast included, no towels provided, no hair dryers, and the hostel bar was pretty much a bar for locals - no chance to meet other travellers. You're pretty much just paying for the visual "trendiness" of the setting.
