I got robbed on Zicatela Beach and the staff here SAVED MY ASS (shoutout to Pamela). Literally could not have been more helpful if they tried. By far the best hostel in PE, super easy to meet people and walking distance to all the clubs. 2 pools and really beautiful balconies to watch the sunset from, also there's this really cool gym literally right across the street and ATMs in close walking distance. You can hear waves crashing outside from the rooms. Karaoke night is also a blast.

Beautiful hostel! 2 pools & bars, yoga area & co working area although it felt most of the guests were there to work on their laptop in every section of the hostel - didn’t give a very social vibe, was a little harder to meet people than other hostels. Big kitchen! Bar/restaurant isn’t very cheap but it’s good! Right on the beach, literally a 30 second walk. Perfect spot to watch the sunset upstairs next to some hammocks. Anyone can walk in & go upstairs but rooms secure. Definitely recommend

Awesome facilities with 2 pools, and nice social vibe with a lot of different areas to hang out. Staff were friendly but really don't provide any information, many people didnt even know about the second pool. Had to find my room on my own. Upstairs bar was only open once in the week I stayed. Food & drinks are super expensive. The dorm room and ensuit was clean, but when I changed rooms, the shared bathrooms were pretty gross.

Given it's Selina, expect a lot of digital Nomads or working people. So few nights per week are awesome, some are less busy. If you want to party all day is go to casa bonita. Other than that, great location next to the beach and close to clubs

The grounds of Selina are amazing. 2 pools! Bathrooms definitely need more cleaning as there are so many people that stay. The hostel is huge!! The girls on reception never smile and I didn’t get a warm welcoming vibe whenever I went to the desk to ask a question or check in. That was disappointing

More of hotel feeling then a hostel. The dorms are good - comfortable beds and good charging point. However not worth the extra ££. If you are working then the WiFi is probably the most reliable out of all hostels. That’s the negative as most travellers are working here. So if you are a traveller looking to meet others it’s not the best place to - try Nopelero / puerto dreams. Selina has good parties, lovely pool & kitchen. Right next to the beach on zicatela - close to the clubs too.

Overall reasonable for a hostel, though Selina bills itself as specializing in digital nomad communities. The door to the bathroom in the dorm squeaks terribly. I little bit of oil could vastly improve the sleep of the 7 people not using the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Awful kitchen, huge staircase, great location, nice pools, unhelpful staff, nice sunsets. This place is cool but not worth a whopping £27 pound a night.

Go elsewhere. Tiniest 8 bed dorm I've ever stayed in. Legit not even space to put your bag. Lockers broken and didn't lock. No lightbulb in my lamp. Outlets by bed didn't work. When I checked out since my roommates gave me Covid, they didn't even care. They were actually annoyed that I was leaving! Hostel looks good on the surface, but it is incredibly overpriced for what you get. But excellent Wifi and coffee shop was really good.
