I would recommend! It’s a tad messy, but with being so close to the beach and people bringing in sand, what do you expect? I love the location, and the food at the hostel is also very nice. The atmosphere was a little too frat-party for my taste, but you can weed out your crowd and still have a nice time. There’s also AC in the room which I really appreciated!

    Very Good

Nice hostel with clean rooms and facilites! Good kitchen to cook. Lots of surf boards of all sizes to rent with easy access to beach. Pool area is nice but not alot of shaded areas to sit during the day. Also they would turn on very loud quite awful (rap) music on around 8am everyday and keep it blasting all day so was hard to find a quiet space if you wanted to haave a nap or just have some quiet for a bit!

One member of the staff was not friendly at all. Kitchen is gross. But other than that, dorms are clean, the common space is awesome, but it doesn’t party at all.

I’ve stayed at Selina’s before but the customer service at this one is just the worst. When asking about shuttles the person in the reception was sending voice messages and texting her friends at the same time. Our ac didn’t work properly resulting in a very hot room, and when we asked the reception for the remote they said that they couldn’t be bothered to find it after a long day of work. We payed the full total upon arrival but were still told we had to pay more when checking out.

No atmosphere, very “flashpacker”. Staff are quite rude and unhelpful (e.g they don’t show you to your room or give you brief tour of the facilities) I checked out as soon as I saw my room, dirty dorm; they refused to refund me. I would not recommend to stay here, go stay at a local hostel that is run by fellow travelers where it’s easy to meet people and actually has an atmosphere.

Customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced immediately upon check in, staff was Completely unhelpful and rude. They don’t even show you around or to your room. The pool is disgusting, and has more of a frat house vibe than a hostel. The kitchen is filthy and full of bugs, and has rats. Also had an issue with people stealing food from the fridge. The beds are uncomfortable. The ONLY good thing about this place is the location, and some of the food in the restaurant downstairs isn’t bad.
