Property Description

Selina Cusco is decorated in the colorful Inca-influenced style of the city. Selina Cusco is one of the only coworking spots in the city, boasting strong and reliable internet and an open and friendly work environment. Just because you’re hiking back in time to the pre-colonial era doesn’t mean you have to give up your connection to the 21st Century.

Our dorms, private rooms, and suites are a short walk from all the local highlights: the happening Plaza de Armas, the delicious sights and smells of San Pedro Market, the dining of Plaza San Blas, and the historic city center.

Selina’s dorms are not like you’d find in your typical hostel. We set the standard at a whole new level with a seating area, your own light, a personal shelf and locker for each bunk bed to keep your things secure. Bathrooms are shared.
We also offer a range of private rooms of different standards to suit your budget. These come with private or shared bathroom.

Taxes not included - 10.00% service charged to be paid at the hostel.
The national sales tax (18%) is charged upon check-out to citizens of Peru regardless of the length of stay and to foreigners staying in the country for 60 consecutive days or more. Additionally, the tax is applied per room when the room is shared by a taxable and a nontaxable guest. This place is seriously a hidden gem in Cusco. It's close to all the restaurants and bars you want to be near - the interior design is amazing and the entire vibe of the hostel is awesome.

    Superb

Loved this place. 4 room mixed dorm. Everyone was quiet and respectful when they came in. Super clean. The beds had really fluffy comforters and shades for privacy. Oil heaters in the room, so super cozy. The bunks are well made and sturdy so you don't hear everyone leaving and coming. Everyone got a room key which was nice since I felt safe not having to leave the door open for the others. Faced the street but I didn't hear a bunch of traffic.

    Fabulous

Nice place to stay, but some rooms are laut because of the bar downstairs, if the door is open it’s like a club. I hope they put a automatic door! It’s pretty cold everywhere, they don’t have a good heating and the doors are always open, lobby, bar... they have good bed and warm blanket that’s good and is everything clean and new

    Fabulous

The hostel itself was really clean including the kitchens and the bathrooms. The rooms were comfortable with individual chargers and lockers. There wasn’t much of an atmosphere there and the staff weren’t always that helpful. But easy place to stay in Cusco and pretty good location for main square etc

    Very Good

Good hostel overall, very nice staff. The showers had only cold water sometimes, and it's a bit far from the center but we had a good time.

Very rude staff trying to overcharge for every night - very annoying and they won’t budge when you point it out. Very strange they add a 10% “service fee” for staying in a shared dorm, not advertised anywhere and unsure what it is for!

    Good

So, where to begin. First of all I have stayed at four different Selina hostels in four different countries and have always LOVED them. This was shockingly a very negative exception. So there is no hot water or heating. I would come back from hikes day after day and take freezing showers and sleep in ALL of my hiking layers. I obviously complained and they kept assuring there was hot water. I even asked to shower in another room location where I heard there was warmer water. Didn't happen.

Weird experience. The hostel says they are pet friendly and I think that’s fine but they did not tell us there was a dog in the 12 room dorm! When we arrived at night the staff did not inform us and would not help us get another room while the dog slept on peoples bagpacks and slept on other people’s beds. Beds overall were ok and facilities too. Staff was nice and helpful after the dog incident.

Reception staff are very unhelpful. Yoga is advertised at a completely different price than what they wanted to charge me. The kitchen was always dirty and people eat your food (even when it was in my own Tupperware) labels are not provided by the hostel. The paint in the shower was literally washing off the walls, so you had to be careful not to touch it when showering. I would not recommend this place and has put me off ever staying in a selina hostel. You are paying for the look and brand
