Property Description

Selina Cusco is decorated in the colorful Inca-influenced style of the city. Selina Cusco is one of the only coworking spots in the city, boasting strong and reliable internet and an open and friendly work environment. Just because you’re hiking back in time to the pre-colonial era doesn’t mean you have to give up your connection to the 21st Century.

Our dorms, private rooms, and suites are a short walk from all the local highlights: the happening Plaza de Armas, the delicious sights and smells of San Pedro Market, the dining of Plaza San Blas, and the historic city center.

Selina’s dorms are not like you’d find in your typical hostel. We set the standard at a whole new level with a seating area, your own light, a personal shelf and locker for each bunk bed to keep your things secure. Bathrooms are shared.
We also offer a range of private rooms of different standards to suit your budget. These come with private or shared bathroom.

Taxes not included - 10.00% service charged to be paid at the hostel.
The national sales tax (18%) is charged upon check-out to citizens of Peru regardless of the length of stay and to foreigners staying in the country for 60 consecutive days or more. Additionally, the tax is applied per room when the room is shared by a taxable and a nontaxable guest. Foreign guests must present a passport and Andean Migration Card (Tarjeta Andina de Migración) at check-in.

I only stayed here because the other hostel I was at was full, but take my word for it, this hostel is awesome. It was so clean and bohemian. The library and communal kitchen were nice. There's even an 'exercise room' upstairs. The showers were warm and it was the best bed I slept in the whole trip. It's not the most social hostel, though, but that could have just been the group that was there at the time. Definitely stay here if you're looking for a few tranquil days.

Loved this place. 4 room mixed dorm. Everyone was quiet and respectful when they came in. Super clean. The beds had really fluffy comforters and shades for privacy. Oil heaters in the room, so super cozy. The bunks are well made and sturdy so you don't hear everyone leaving and coming. Everyone got a room key which was nice since I felt safe not having to leave the door open for the others. Faced the street but I didn't hear a bunch of traffic.

Nice hostel, short walk from the main plaza, clean and comfy beds, good WiFi. Showers weren't hot though and when we extended an extra night (same beds) they tried to charge us an extra £2 each explaining that the price of the room changes everyday..bit weird. So we just booked through webpage again for the same price as the previous night.

    Very Good

The location is a fair walk from the central cusco area, probably not very safe for a solo traveler during the night hours. The hostel room is clean however privacy is limited. Some staff were helpful but a handful seemed too preoccupied with their computer or cell phones to offer assistance. The restaurant/bar connected to the building is a nice bonus and there is also a kitchen available for use within the hostel.

This is a nice Hostel. We stayed in a twin room which was comfortable and well equipped. Unfortunately there was a Corona Sunset party organised by the staff literally right outside our window. The music was so loud, and the guests were all from outside the hostel. This is not the best considering we had early morning pickups.

Very rude staff trying to overcharge for every night - very annoying and they won’t budge when you point it out. Very strange they add a 10% “service fee” for staying in a shared dorm, not advertised anywhere and unsure what it is for!

So, where to begin. First of all I have stayed at four different Selina hostels in four different countries and have always LOVED them. This was shockingly a very negative exception. So there is no hot water or heating. I would come back from hikes day after day and take freezing showers and sleep in ALL of my hiking layers. I obviously complained and they kept assuring there was hot water. I even asked to shower in another room location where I heard there was warmer water. Didn't happen.
