We make the most of our heritage with regular live music nights – maybe you'll witness the next Irish supergroup on their way up. See the Liffey River and the cast-iron Ha’Penny Bridge on our free daily walking tour, then come back for free food and drink events, like free stacked burgers, sangria or beer. Or just settle in for our DVD night.

From our central location you can switch between the bars and buskers of Temple Bar – just 1 minute away – and the leafy paths of St Stephen's Green (a 13-minute walk from us). For some Irish culture, head to the National Gallery, just 15 minutes' stroll from us. Getting here is simple. Take the Aircoach or Airport Express 747 from Dublin Airport to O’Connell Street (3 minutes away on foot) and you’ll be here in 33 minutes. From Connolly railway station, we’re a 13-minute stroll.

I stayed at Sky Backpacker’s for one night and it happened to be pretty quiet at that time which was perfect for me! A really nice and helpful girl at the reception, the dorm bed was comfy and all in all the hostel was clean. The only thing was that the ensuite bathroom was not very practical in the dorm because everyone can hear you and you just end up disturbing everyone if you use the toilet late at night or early in the morning.

Location is great, near multiple bus stops and a very short walk to Temple Bar and other tourist areas. Events such as free sangria and drinks @ 8pm each night so people could meet. Lockers under the bed where you can put your stuff and I stayed in 6 bed girl’s room and the bathroom was very clean. You can rent a towel for 5 euros and get your money back when you return it, as well as buy detergents pods for 1 euro. Definitely would return here (:

The hostel is located right in the city center 5 mins to temple bar. The facilities are modern and really clean, only the beds are not comfy, I could feel every spring of my mattress. Atmosphere is good a lot of people socialising with the help of the evening activities offered by the hostel. It's kinda expensive, like most hostels in Dublin, but it's worth the price. Would recommend.

Nice place, bathrooms were very clean. Events daily in the common room is nice for meeting people. There were a lot of older people (27+ maybe?) and not as many young travelers during my stay.

We had a blast at SkyBackpackers! I can’t stress how conveniently located the hostel was. It was near enough to the river and the city center where it was easy enough to pop out for a meal or a night out, but the street itself was fairly quiet. There was always someone at reception, but getting into the building was admittedly pretty easy. Even if you didn’t have a key, someone would buzz you in (so that has pros and cons). Overall, a great dependable stay!

Overall found the hostel to be really pricey. The free food and drink events didn't really bring many people to socialise. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable with big lockers. Overall the hostel was a good experience with everything you need to have a good time in Dublin just don't expect it to be lively.

Rooms were ok, beds were comfortable, but it's located right next to a bar where they perform celtic shows so it's music and noise all night, plus the main entrance is right on an alley so you also get drunk people or lowlives getting drugs. Cleanliness looked decent but definitely not the best. The best was their staff, very friendly and welcoming; the worst was the fact I got NO WiFi AT ALL. There was WiFi, yes, but the signal doesn't reach every room, so I had to sit in the hallway to use it.
