I had a great stay at sleep in heaven. If you have a metro/train pass it is within 5 mins walking distance of a bus stop that goes right to city center or 5 mins the other way to a train station that goes right into city center. Extremely easy to get around and maneuver. The hostel was great too, there was great recommendations posted on the wall. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and overall everything went real well!

This was my first experience in a hostel and it was amazing!! Staff was friendly and helpful and the hangout area was so cute and comfy. Bed and pillow was comfy!! Before I left to the airport, i could leave my luggage in the bag storage even when i did check out and i was still welcomed to stay in the hangout area. There is 7-eleven and other stores and food places like 2 min walk from the hostel too, which was a bonus for me. Next time I come to Copenhagen I will definitely come back here

loved the free personal locks using a card and lockers even after checkout and before checkins. room A’s door was kinda hard to open since it was a little faulty but that wasnt really an issue since the staff offered to switch my room and i managed to figure out how to open the door. 10/10 atmosphere and young people, friendly staff and warm water. no shampoo and soaps in the shower tho.

There was a party going on some nights while I was there, other then that it was good. You get 1 locker per person. All of the staff speaks english well, and knows how to answer questions you have. Location is a little hard to find with google maps, but if you navigate with someone else you'll be fine. they had a nice lounge and coffee and breakfast options. showers was nice. It was very clean, no trash anywhere. It was a little expensive, but it is a nice hostel. 1 block to metro.

The hostel is a bit far from the city center and the 12 bed room was a bit loud, close to the bar, people were opening the door a lot and the music and chatter could be heard loudly inside the room. Other than that the neighbourhood is pretty nice, a lot of cafes and restaurants, close to public transport, the atmosphere was really cool and people were very nice. My room and the bathrooms were very clean, in the end I had a great stay and would definetly come back.

Great place and good vibes at the common areas. Just bad point is they don't allow you to drink alcohol inside if you've bought externally.

This was a great hostel, but they charge you for EVERYTHING! You have to pay to use the pool table in the common room. They charge for bike rentals, breakfast. I was surprised they didn’t charge to use the computers. The staff was friendly and super knowledgeable about Copenhagen. Not many people were at the hostel, so the atmosphere was a little flat. Super small rooms, but everything was clean. Hot water in the showers! Great location right next to famous cemetery! A little hard to find though

The hostel was very clean and had a good amount of showers and toilets the common area was lively and staff were friendly, the lack of a full kitchen is a shame but there is a microwave and boiling water on hand, the hostel is a decent walk away from the centre of the city but close to a subway station. Good value for money in terms of Copenhagen.

Nice place, decent location. Affordable considering how expensive the city was. I didn't really meet other people and there was no kitchen access. I was a little scared of the bathroom cleanliness but it was tolerable. Bike rentals are a great opportunity!

    Very Good

    20 Nov 2021
I only dropped of my luggage early in the morning at the luggage depot, and arrived at 01:00 in the hostel for a one night stay, therefore I haven’t experienced much about the hostel and the atmosphere. The employees were friendly and we were able to check out early 7:30. The only downsides I experienced was that the second floor bunkbeds in the 18 shared room were not that pleasant to get in to and leave if your height is above average. Besides the beds, the showers were clean and good

Sleep in Heaven says

I think our hostel is ideal for backpackers and students, travelling alone or in smaller groups, who want to experience the unique culture of Copenhagen and especially the sprawling and urban atmosphere of Nørrebro, the hip neighborhood.
We like to have fun around here, whether it's socializing in our huge chill-out zone or relaxing in our candlelit beer garden. There's also foosball, pool and other games and if you want to go out the local bars and clubs offer our guests discounts and free entrance.
Our spot is really what makes us unique, though. Near our hostel is Jægersborgade (for the best cafes, shops and restaurants), the Assistens Kirkegård cemetery (where Hans Christian Andersen and Soren Kierkegaard are), Blågårdsgade & Sankt Hans Torv (full of small cafes and bars), Rust & Stengade 30 (for clubs) and Ravnsborggade, if you're into second-hand shopping. In fact, our dedicated young student team are happyt o offer all their best local insider tips to Copenhagen! Christian, Owner
