Definitely one of our favourite hostels in Asia. Socialista had such a nice atmosphere and the staff were so lovely (shout out to Antonioe, ya legend). The homemade shower gels and shampoos are insane. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the beds are so comfy. It’s slightly further out than other hostels but the walk isn’t that bad.

Great hostel and the staff really make you feel included. It’s really tucked away but next to some lovely restaurants etc. Would definitely stay here again

Decently priced, good location, nice staff, good pool & pool area, nice showers & bathrooms. The pod style beds were the highlight for me - they offer ample privacy. No brekkie is included but they have a good selection of breakfast options at the cafe. Free water in glass bottles. Free towel hire (deposit). Walking distance to a beach. Short grab ride to double 6 beach/Seminyak proper. I would stay again.

Great hostel, spacious beds. My only negative review is that when I stayed there they got everyone out their beds and made us pack our bags at 10am to clean. That’s fine, but we should have been told the night before, as I was even told to hurry up despite check out being at 12.

Staff were lovely and friendly, nice big beds, lockers and very clean however pretty far from beach and town. Very relaxed and chilled but not the best place to meet people if solo travelling

Nice hostel, great swimming pool. They organise some activities at night like all you can eat pizza witch is nice to meet people. Don’t know if it is every night though. Not a lot of things to do around if you don’t rend à scooter, but the beach is close by foot.

This is a beautiful hostel with potential to be really nice! The pool area, decor and bathrooms are finished to a really high standard. However, air con in the rooms wasn’t effective enough, happy hour drinks should be the price they advertise - not with added service charge on top, had some plumbing issues whilst there too. Overall really nice I just think it needs a few adjustments but for the price charged can’t really complain!

While the hostel itself is modern and clean and in a great location I found some of the staff to be rude and seem like they didn’t want to help at all. My biggest concern was the HUGE design flaw with the glass door and is meant the rooms became like a greenhouse during the day and were so hot you couldn’t nap or even sit on your bed without sweating, there is aircon but it is very weak and made no difference during the day. Still lots to work on but not too bad as far as new hostels go.

Everything is perfect except that fact it’s impossible to sleep. They say there’s a curfew (11pm) but there’s no staff at night to impose it. Really flimsy doors so it sounds like people are in the room, you have no choice but to stay awake until the last people drinking decide to go to bed which was 2am the first night and like 4am the second night. A hostel can compromise on a lot of things but being able to sleep isn’t on that list for me. It’s a shame because it has so much potential.
