Sophie's Hostel is tucked in Prague’s New Town (Nove Mesto) which is steeped in authentic culture and home to an eclectic mix of local restaurants, cafes, and shops. New Town borders Old Town allowing easy access to the historical center and Wenceslas Square by foot or by tram. Our location is ideal, especially for those who seek a wee bit of refuge from the tourist crowds.

A fantastic hostel for its price. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm. The ladders on the bunks were a little wobbly, and one of the chests/lockers had a broken latch. Bathroom and facilities were decent too. Easy access to what you need and to Prague.

I stayed in the 5-bed women’s dorm. The beds are super comfortable and the space was cleaned daily. The breakfast was also quite nice. There are some cons, but not any big issues. There is one bathroom with both the shower and toilet, so you may have to wait a bit in the mornings and evenings. Water also gets all over the floor from the shower since there’s no floor barrier, and the bedroom floors squeak. I recommend bringing ear plugs and an eye mask for sleep, and your own storage lock.

We like that some of the dorms in this hostel don't have bunk beds.
