On arrival the toilet and shower area was cleaned. Clean hostel, it was quiet when i was there but gave it a 10 for atmosphere for to give a 10 rating overall. Excellent locatation, breakfast smelled good, do not know costs, had to catch a connection. Bed could maybe be a little bigger although easy to recommomend, cannot see a better Prime location in Aberdeen, V.F.M.

Very good location for traveling to the airport. Dorms are a bid crammed and there is mold in the bathroom, but overall a good hostel for a couple of nights.

The dorm rooms were really good , you had big windows you could open and the bathroom plus the showers were great. It was all very clean, but you could not lock the bathroom door in our room. The kitchen is a very small room, just has a few basics (microwave) -more cutlery and plates/mugs would be great. You could compare the overall athmosphere to a hotel, but the location is amazing. The Hostel is located at the harbour, a short walk from the main street and the maritime museum.

    Very Good

It was fine and was in a really good location, on the waterfront and very close to major Aberdeen attractions. Although we did manage to get our bicycles stowed away in a ground level toilet, the initial request was that we lock them up on the street. The bathrooms were very good with a decent shower and shampoo, but the room overall was quite crowded, with 16 people inside and not much space to put belongings. However, if you're jut looking for a decent place to crash it's a good option.

Kitchen was okay. not a lot of room. It was super close to the bus station which was amazing. it is downtown so a biy noisy but it's tp be expected. Everything was clean and the beds had usb and adapter plugs which I also liked (to have both).

Very central location. 2 minutes from train station and city centre. Clean and spacious dorms. Being formerly a hotel makes for very luxury hallways and bath rooms which are all en-suite. Good place to stay if you need a bed to sleep in. Only major disadvantages are the atmosphere: no real common room, many rules for sitting downstairs, really hard to meet new people, no hostel feeling at all and the "kitchen". Only a microwave and fridge near to no cutlery/gear, so cooking is not possible.

The beds were clean, not too creaky. Full bedding set given. When we arrived, there was a Cola bottle, used deodorant and shampoo on windowsill (also a snotty tissue left on the sink). It was a squishy room and it came with a personal washroom (overall were pretty clean). No hand soap and only one toilet paper roll. Nice lounge area downstairs. My phone couldn't connect to the WiFi. Soprano Hostel ~2 minute walk from Aberdeen Train Station (convenient location).

Overpriced with mediocre staff, would highly recommend going somewhere else in aberdeen. Although this hostel is centrally located, it is not worth sleeping in the uncomfortable beds where if either person moves the entire bed shakes waking everyone up.

Everything was horrible in this hostel: -dirty and mouldy -kitchen was a joke: without hobs, oven, knifes and only one bowl -room smellt horrible -12 people room was definitely not fit for so many people, no space to even stand between bunks -metal lockers under beds could barely be taken out, there were not enough of them for 12 and were super noisy -hostel wasn’t safe -one toilet and shower for 12 people is not ok -toilet and shower in the same room -pricey -rude staff DO NOT GO
