I found another “home” 9000 km away from where I live. An amazing community in one of the best organized hostels I have ever been.

This place has a really good vibe. Outdoor space is spectacular + it has ice cream. It’s an older building without air conditioning on the hot days in the summer it can be bothersome on the sun side of the building.

Had a great experience at Squamish Adventure Inn. We were greeted promptly by the loveliest and enthusiastic fellow. Stayed in the all female dorm and beds were comfortable and clean. The entire hostel was very clean which I much appreciated - the communal kitchen was respected by all patrons and people actually cleaned up after themselves (hooray!). The outdoor space had an amazing view and was super chill. Would definitely recommend this hostel.

Nice and cosy little hostel. It's well located on the sea to sky highway to access loads of hikes etc. Rooms are fairly big and well maintained and the communal areas are cool and well furnished (this kitchen!!)

Positives: Great location and the place is clean. Negatives: you have to make your own bed. The reception is only staffed after 4pm. You can’t be outside after 10 unless you are smoking. I got threatened to be kicked out when sitting quietly at the smoking area and chatting to people after 10pm. No subscriptions on TV (just free YouTube).

The environment in the hostel could not be better. Everyone was really nice and friendly and it felt kind of like a mountain shelter where adventures are shared. I would definitely go back there if I return to Squamish:

This hostel had a great vibe and fun people - adventure crowd but not too party-ish. Our main complaint was the bed - it was hands down the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. We could feel every spring in the bed. The front desk gave us a second comforter to lay on, but it was still not super comfortable. Also, the front desk was not very helpful with information about transportation or things to do in and around Squamish.
