Hostelworld says

St Christopher's Inn - London Bridge is all about location. This 16th-century building is near London Bridge and the Tate Modern, as well as the London Underground's Northern Line. The downstairs bar hosts live bands on Fridays, but we like that most of the hostel parties are hosted in nearby sister hostel St Christopher's Village, meaning guests can easily return home to a quiet bed after a long night. Hostelworld guests say they appreciate the 'great vibe in the bar section and common rooms' which makes the hostel a 'nice place to meet people'.

The best of all the place is the staff, all people were kind to us. The installations were not as good as the village but not bad. Maybe just a bit of more cleaning periods would be great.

great location for london. right near the tower bridge and the tube station is right there to get around. we were unaware this was a party hostel until we got there so live music played until 2 am and they ran out of earplugs so we didn’t have any for our entire stay. be prepared for that, pack headphones or earplugs to help you sleep at night. the place was cleaned daily by a sweet cleaning lady, but didn’t look THAT cleaned in the bathrooms. would book again!

Nice location. Staff were great and friendly. However, I felt the room where I was wasn't ideal, overlooking the courtyard, where you could hear people drinking late in the night. Also, I had to pay for a breakfast, but was only given a sandwich and an orange. I know COVID has played a part in this, but was disappointed with this.

PROS - Good location - Shower & toilet all in one room (better for privacy & somewhere to put your clothes, toiletries) CONS - Thin & hard mattress - Walls are extremely thin, I could hear people in the other rooms snoring and everything from the pub below (due to covid, it shut at 10pm, otherwise it would of been too noisy to sleep) - Not great for meeting people in the dorm due to new covid 19 rules. I had the room all to myself. (It didn't bother me because I was visiting friends anyway)

    Very Good

The room and shower are good But breakfast is very poor. The atmosphere are ok . But It’s not nice for people like me who likes to rest and sleep . The hostel is actually a pub. So people are in and out all the time . And in the night time there is live music ??? Whattt??? From 11 pm until 2 am just under the room window 😅😅😅. If you are a night person you gonna love it. But if you are not! Don’t stay there .

Place was extremely noisy with the bar noise coming up. The front desk provides ear plugs but even with them we could not sleep. The beds were very uncomfortable. The bottom bunk was so caved in it our lockers sounded like T-Rex locked in a metal cage and we had to fight to get it out from under the bed. The bathroom nearest us was unusable most the time due to cleanliness issues but if you wander through you can find a decent one. Staff was excellent but rarely available anytime before noon.

This place doesn't feel like a hostel, but more like rooms above a bar. There is no kitchen, no fridge, no kettle, no common area to meet other guests. To get to the rooms, you must walk through the bar. The reception is at the bar. Generally akward atmosphere for a hostel, I did not feel welcome and almost impossible to meet other guests. They were not doing luggage storage because of covid. So your stuck with your luggage (possibly in the rain). Positive is they lent me a towel and location.

terrible set up with rooms, no mention of rooms overlooking a bar which is open to the early hours. Impossible to get any sleep. no curtains around beds as would expect in any central London hostel. Beds are flimsy & lightweight, every time I climbed stairs to get into top bunk bed almost toppled over. No one available at reception in morning to return key (even though advertised there from 7:30am) & get £2 key deposit back, suppose a easy way to make money. Would 100% not recommend.

Showers were terrible, no pressure and small area to shower in. Room smelled bad, pillow and linens bad quality, no kitchen, and hosts were more concerned with the customers coming into the pub than the guests themselves. Would never stay here again. Only benefit Is it’s cheap but barely worth the few bucks you save
