Hostelworld says

St Christopher's Inn - London Bridge is all about location. This 16th-century building is near London Bridge and the Tate Modern, as well as the London Underground's Northern Line. The downstairs bar hosts live bands on Fridays, but we like that most of the hostel parties are hosted in nearby sister hostel St Christopher's Village, meaning guests can easily return home to a quiet bed after a long night. Hostelworld guests say they appreciate the 'great vibe in the bar section and common rooms' which makes the hostel a 'nice place to meet people'.

Great location and ambiance, but it makes it noisy until the pub closes. Bring some ear plug or ask some at the front desk. The staff was really great.

Easy, friendly efficient check in. Good location, slightly sketchy after midnight but hey, that’s all of London. Really close to the over and underground. Clean bedroom and sheets, okay ventilation but would’ve been bad in the heatwave as window only opens a bit. Bathrooms were clean and accessible. Great option for a cheap easy stay.

The location was fantastic. Right near Borough Market, only 20 mins tube to Euston, short walk to Tower Bridge. My 4 bed dorm was spotless. It overlooked the beer garden below but the noise was actually really no problem and I still got to sleep really easily. The massive fan in the room was hugely appreciated too. The only mark down would be I had to que 40 minutes to check in with only 2 people in front of me. That could definitely be more efficient. Otherwise bloody loved the place.

Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Great location a few blocks from underground. The only problem was that the room was very hot, no air flow because the window only opens a few inches. They were starting to put floor fans in the rooms due to a heat wave, but my room wasn't among the lucky firsts. Overall I recommend.

It was very clean and safe. The staff was very nice. It is convenient that they have food and drinks at the pub downstairs (discounted for hostel guests!), but becomes rather inconvenient when trying to sleep. It was very loud.

The staff were great as was the ability to pop down for a drink and some great live music. Close to the public transit system and I could easily walk to various places such as the tower bridge and was right near the Boroughs market. Felt safe in the area. My biggest complaint: It was HOT. Like, unbelievably, unhealthily hot. Heatwave, no air, a barely working fan and windows that only opened 2 inches. Woke up soaked and dehydrated every single morning. That part of the hostel should be updated.

    Very Good

Friendly staff, not the best but okay location, a bit expensive considering the noise from the pub under it (free earplugs are available tho so that's good) and the fact that we were being cooked alive in our room due to the hot weather and not being allowed to open the windows more than a tiny bit. I understand it's a safety thing but I think I would rather avoid this hostel during the hottest days of the summer. The atmosphere and the security and luggage storage under the beds are great tho.

    Very Good

Good hostel to explore London from, but be prepared for the cramped spaces and dustiness of an old building. Bar below should definitely turn down their music at night! Music then was uncomfortably loud in the bar and enough to disturb an average sleeper in the floor above where I stayed. If they turned it down by 40% it would have been ok to stay in the bar and manageable in the floor above. To management's credit, they did provide earplugs upon request. Breakfast was good value for 4 pounds.

I've stayed in a lot of hostels, but this was one of the worst stays I've had. The lights didn't turn on in our room, so we had to walk around with our phone lights on at night. The portable fan in the room was broken, so the air didn't circulate at all at night, so we were miserably hot. We kept the window open, but it wasn't enough, and keeping the window open also meant that we could hear every word spoken in the courtyard below, which got quite loud every night with live music and a crowd.
