Overview

St Christopher’s Village is the place to be in London! Not only have we been voted one of the best party hostels in the world, we're the UK’s first capsule hostel, with cool pod-style beds. With our outdoor terrace and regular beer pong and music events, there are loads of ways to get to know fellow travellers. After a day of exploring, dance the night away in our onsite bar Belushi’s, watch live sports in the comfy Dugout or enjoy our tasty (and discounted!) burgers.

Location

We’re just a short walk from the London Eye and Tower Bridge. Foodie heaven Borough Market's a ten minute stroll away. Explore the city on one of our free walking tours or grab our free city map and head out on your own. With two underground stations (London Bridge and Borough) less than 7 minutes' walk away, we couldn't be better connected. From major London airports, it takes just an hour on the tube or train to London Bridge. Arriving late? We have a 24-hour reception, so you don't need to worry if your flight is delayed.

Rooms and Dorms

Our mixed dorms make a comfy place to crash. Choose one of our Japanese-style pod beds with USB ports, cool mood lighting and curtains for extra seclusion. We have private rooms too (one even overlooks the Shard!), and some dorms and private rooms have en-suites. Our backpack-sized storage lockers are perfect for stashing your belongings away. You'll get free bed linen and you can hire towels.

Extras and activities

We've got a restaurant, café and free Wi-Fi, so you can call home and keep your Instagram followers updated on your adventures. Here for the nightlife? Look out for tickets to pub crawls every night of the week and daily happy hour deals. On Fridays and Saturdays, dance until 3am with resident DJs in our on-site nightclub (pick up a late-night snack from the vending machines if hunger strikes). Need some downtime the next day? That's what our comfy common room and sofas are for!

I was only here for a night on a layover, but I’ll definitely come back to this hostel if I’m in London again! Such a fun atmosphere and neat building.

Honestly the hostel is fine, the staff is super helpful. We stayed in a 4 person dorm for the first night which was great . Then we moved to a 9 person dorm . The 9 was a little weird because it was a triple bed. So headspace is limited. The hostel is very close to all the touristy things . So you can walk to most things in about 45 min. A grocery store right in front and a full bar down stairs . Definitely recommend it.

This hostel is super clean and very comfortable. Only down side is there is no kitchen, just a kettle and a microwave. If you get a chance go down to the bar and meet Jack and Afeez, great lads! Thanks for a great stay st. Christopher’s!

Amazing, laid back hostel with big lockers & curtains surrounding every bed. Free washer / dryer and a beautiful rooftop balcony with a lovely view of the Shard. Perfect location to explore London city center. It’s a party downstairs every night so be ready to wear earplugs if you want to go bed before like 2 AM. Only downside is no kitchen, but I can look past that as there is a huge amount of options for food right outside the door. Would recommend!

Had a wonderful time! The beds were comfortable, locker space was more then adequate and the rooms were clean and tidy. The toilet and shower facilities were well kept and clean. The bar downstairs was great, had live music and the food and drinks were very affordable. Overall great experience

This hostel is in a great location. It's also really easy to meet young travelers here. There are many events at night at the hostel bar or on the pub crawl. I'd go back.

Our stay was nice and it almost felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Would have loved to have a kitchen! But everyone was super nice, the location was really good, and we made new friends during our stay.

The place was great for a quick stay in London. The only downfall was that it was super loud at night, especially if you are on the side of the bar. The staff was great and very helpful. When I lost my keys for the padlock, they gave me a new padlock free of charge. It’s in a good location, just walking distance from 2 subway stations. It’s also a short walk to London and Tower Bridge.

I booked 5 beds in a 6 bed dorm and payed for it all together, when we arrived we were all split up after we’d assumed that we’d selected 5 beds out of 6 we’d be together then we were questioned about why we were staying there anyway! The rooms were boiling but the bathrooms were great!

The hostel was very dirty and overcrowded. The room was cramped, with 3-level bunk beds you couldn’t sit up in and barely enough room for a suitcase in between. There were 4 showers and 3 toilets for the whole floor, and all were mixed gender. The only common space was the bar. The sheets were dirty when we arrived, the bathrooms weren’t clean, and we got bedbugs and had to spend a day cleaning everything we had with us in order not to spread them. Very loud at night, but they had free earplugs.
