The hotel is what you would expect, a great hotel for what you pay. It is cheap, so do not expect it to have the facilities or finish of The Hilton. But if you want a hotel which is value for money, in a great location (close to everything) then you can't go wrong with St Enoch. The staff couldn't do anymore to help, the pub next door is very welcoming (and offer a 15% discount to hotel guests) as is the take away! I would have no hesitation in staying again, thanks

Top-notch location, right by a subway terminal and bus shelter, with friendly 24-7 staff. Carpets are in need of deep cleaning or replacement, because there is a persistent smell, and the bedframes are noisy as barn doors in a tornado, but, that aside, no complaints.

It looks really dingy and like where crackheads stay, but the beds really comfy, the staff are nice, and they give you a free towel. My only complaint is the wifi was bad and there was no kitchen

This place does what it says on the tin - it’s quite grotty in appearance but the important things were clean (bed, bathroom) My issue was with noise and disturbances during my stay

Hostel has no kitchen or common room - simply put, it is just a place to get your head down for the night and nothing more. One positive, it is close location to O2 academy.

The room was jam-packed with 3x double-bunk beds, and not much room for anything else. Also, my bed was wedged right next to the entry door to the ensuite -- not very pleasant.. The bunk beds were narrow & very soft. One of the other occupants of the room (who lived there indefinitely) frequently smoked in the ensuite bathroom, giving an unpleasant odour to the room. This place also needs some kind of security lockers in the rooms, in the interests of the safety of keeping belongings.

Room was not very clean - bathroom really was very unclean. Lots of mold and empty bottles. Location was good - it was cheap, but could have been cleaner. Did not feel safe.

We booked a 4 bed all female room. It only had one plug-in and the en-suite washroom was not clean. The beds are very soft and you can feel the springs through the mattress. The lobby area doesn’t have anywhere to sit. The building smells of damp/mildew. You definitely get what you pay for. Would recommend you spend the extra little by and stay elsewhere. The plus was they provided free towels and bar of soap.

The place is disgusting, filthy and downright weird... I stayed here AFTER reading reviews out of curiosity to see just how bad it was. Dirty bathroom, dirty bedrooms, toe nails in bed sheets from previous guest. Stay somewhere else - this sort of accommodation will mentally affect your enjoyment of your time in Glasgow if you stay too long. Environmental health should close it down.
