Hostelworld says

Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark is near the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the nightlife of Leidseplein, with a view overlooking Vondelpark. There are several buses and trams nearby which go across the city. Hostelworld guests tell us this hostel offers great value for money, 'a nice mix for international visitors' and that they'd recommend it 'if you want a quiet night in Amsterdam'. We particularly like their highly-praised, typically Dutch breakfast of cheese, meats, eggs and more.

Great hostel, the hostel itself was huge with helpful staff. You can walk to most places in less then 30 minutes. About 25 min drive to the train station. Was in a 6 person dorm. Which has its own bathroom. Definitely recommend it

location was excellent as it is very closed to museum and music hall (Royal concertgebouw), you do not have to walk for hours before getting into museums. service was decent. the beds are confortable. it is next to the park so night time was not that noisy, though individual might made some noisy around the hostel.

Good hostel! A little expensive, and some noisy roommates, but that’s to be expected. Great location!

Very modern, feels like an airport or a factory of sorts. The staff wear matching uniforms and the whole shebang feels impersonal. The rooms are in different wings of the building and everything is secured by key-card. I stayed in a 6-person dorm that was quite small, and beds were quite narrow as well, compared to other hostels. Other than that, the room was quiet and noise did not penetrate from outside or from other rooms. No kitchen or even hot water for use; luggage storage 20c per hour.

No atmosphere, people seem to come in and out but not hang out much unless they're smoking cigs outside. Breakfast was ok priced self-serve at €7. Breads, spreads, cereal, coffee, juice, ham, cheese, some fruit. A little noisy at night with people coming back from bars, but I still slept. Good location, walking distance to the big tourist areas, but not in an actual party area. Some staff were very helpful and friendly, some were a bit brusk. Check in took awhile. Free lockers in the rooms, BYOL

Very modern hostel suitable for young people and families. Frustratingly the WiFi didn’t work for 2 days while we were there. Friendly staff on the bar.

    Very Good

My stay here was “okay” as advertised. It may be that all Amsterdam hostels are expensive, but I don’t feel like it was money well spent. The facilities were very minimal, beds were rather uncomfortable, and people didn’t really have an approachable vibe. Staff was okay.

Big chain hostel with massive turnover, so not at all homely, but it is relatively efficient. At a cost. Lockers, sure +€. Towel, no problem +€. Breakfast, available +€. I was booked in a 4 bed for 2 nights but they had a problem with the booking so I had to check out after 1 night and move rooms, upon which there was overbooking and there was only a 6 bed room available. They couldn't offer any sort of discount (because the computer said no) so I just had to deal with it. Pretty average really

Good location. Rooms okay, we were allocated beds near the window which is fine but supper annoying that every other bunk had there own light and charging station.

Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark says

I think our most unique feature is that we're partly located in a monumental chalet building from which you have a stunning view over the Vondelpark. We're in the middle of things but still very quiet.
Our location means we're right in the city centre of Amsterdam and very close the Leidseplein (the entertainment area), Museumplein (Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum) and a lot of shopping streets. So if you want to go out and shop, eat, drink, visit museums or cruise through the canals, everything is just around the corner.
During the day I recommend that our visitors either rent a bike to discover the city like a local or take a boat trip through the canals. At night I like the famous Melkweg or Paradiso music venues.
I'd say we're ideally suited for backpackers and groups aged 18 to 30, and we cater for people with special needs or disabilities. Rob, Manager
