Hostelworld says

Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark is near the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the nightlife of Leidseplein, with a view overlooking Vondelpark. There are several buses and trams nearby which go across the city. Hostelworld guests tell us this hostel offers great value for money, 'a nice mix for international visitors' and that they'd recommend it 'if you want a quiet night in Amsterdam'. We particularly like their highly-praised, typically Dutch breakfast of cheese, meats, eggs and more.

Great place to stay with wonderful staff. As an older gentleman I was pleasantly surprised by how relaxing and easy it was to fit in with other travellers younger than myself. The location is a short walk to the excellent tram system, which will have you in the centre of Amsterdam within ten minutes. It also backs on to a beautiful park area for easy walking. The free wifi was good and enabled me to plan my daily adventures. There are lockers in the rooms, with extra lockers for hire.

Haven’t stayed at a hostel for a long time but this is a hostel with both hotel qualities and the charm of a hostel. Great location, friendly staff.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm which was quite small however our roomates and massive shower with good water pressure made up for this! The bar and foyer area were massive and really stylish. This along with friendly staff created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The hostel itself is quite close to everything but is nicely hidden at the end of a street. We arrived before checkin and were able to keep our bags in a locker for a small fee.

Stayokay in Vondelpark was a fantastic experience. My boyfriend and I stayed in a private room, which felt like a hotel room with our own bathroom. The hostel had great places to hang out, with breakfast available for purchase in the morning and a bar for the evening, which was a fun surprise. Every part of our experience was top notch, I was impressed by the high quality experience.

The location is nice. Close to museum square, within a walking distance from downtown and by the tram lines. A bit unpersonal, like everything from Hostel International chain that I've visited. Clean and quiet. The staff was were helpful. The room for two was small but I'm not visiting Amsterdam to sit in a hostel room so I don't really mind. Worth your money, I could stay there in the future as well.

I didn't sleep particularly well in this hostel, but that was mainly because all my roommates were snoring! I slept in a 4-bed dorm, which was a little bit cramped but otherwise ok. In general the hostel seemed pretty clean and the staff were helpful if I had any questions. It's in a good location, right next to the Vondelpark, round the corner from Leidesplein. Easy to get to the city centre and the central station on foot or by tram.

    Very Good

The hostel reception area and bar were great really nicely done and decorated and a good atmosphere in the food/bar area. However was quite disappointed with our hostel room, didn’t look anything like what the photos showed was dark, dingy and very cold, assuming the hostel has been recently refurbished and we were put in an old room, the hostel minus the room is great however don’t know if I’d be willing to pay the money again if I was to get that sort of room I’d be getting.

Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark says

I think our most unique feature is that we're partly located in a monumental chalet building from which you have a stunning view over the Vondelpark. We're in the middle of things but still very quiet.
Our location means we're right in the city centre of Amsterdam and very close the Leidseplein (the entertainment area), Museumplein (Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum) and a lot of shopping streets. So if you want to go out and shop, eat, drink, visit museums or cruise through the canals, everything is just around the corner.
During the day I recommend that our visitors either rent a bike to discover the city like a local or take a boat trip through the canals. At night I like the famous Melkweg or Paradiso music venues.
I'd say we're ideally suited for backpackers and groups aged 18 to 30, and we cater for people with special needs or disabilities. Rob, Manager
