Beautiful place! Its not in the center but to me this was the reason I wanted to be. Its in the nature, green, by the canal...You can have running/walking/cycling around, water activities, sunbathing, reading while laying on the grass. The only thing is that you are not allowed to take your beer with you to the canal if you buy it from the StayOkey bar. I mean they dont sell it if you want to walk out of bar to have sunbath for example. If you buy it from store its your business. And no kitchen!

This hostel is well worth it. It is a few kms out of Utrecht, but hiring a bike easily solves that problem and the scenery on the way there and at the hostel itself makes it worth the stay. The value for money is also very good, with a free breakfast everyday, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and a bar+Cafe to get things at if you don't feel like going back into Utrecht. The only downside I found was the facilities in the rooms are quite old, but it was a very small inconvenience!

This was a beautiful location in the park surrounded by nature. People were very friendly and it was great to stay here. This is not located in Utrecht, it’s a bit outside in a natural area, so it’s best if you have a bike if you want to travel to the city. Overall a great stay!

It’s a long walk to get to if you don’t have a bike, but the nature is beautiful (When it’s warm and sunny 😬) The shower experience was not great, but the price was, and the location and breakfast made up for it 👍

It was cold! They accommodation was actually very basic for what is a beautiful building a cool bar. There was no common space. The bunks were sturdy but not so homely. The heating appears to turn off overnight and we arrived late and I was FREEZING all night in April. The breakfast room was really cold in the morning too and so I snuggled a radiator as I ate cold breakfast. It was a shame when the Bunnik is such a beautiful area and I had been so looking forward to staying there.

I think the property was misleading, the internet doesn’t even reach the room and there’s no communal space to chill except outside so if it rains it’s not great. Breakfast was good but the bathrooms and shower were terrible.

I can't really rate this place as I never got really slept there. We arrived at 23 to do our check in, just to be told that it closed at 22 (something that certainly should have been in the email with "important Infos" that is always sent before a stay at a hostel. The night guard wasn't helpful, nor was the telephone attendant we called. We ended up spending a very bad night at the central station(which is over one hour on foot from there, which we had to walk at night in the rain. Disappointed
