I don’t know if the problem was about the website or the stone hostel but we have paid more than how much there was written on.

Hostel world didn't give me all the information I should have been given so for example I didn't know you had to pay for towels, the overall cost was more than hostel world quoted plus in addition I had to pay hostel world. I won't use hostel world again, there was no transparency. The staff were very friendly and very helpful but hostel itself was quite dirty. Clearly no one looks after it for maintenance including the guests. Social distancing wasn't enforced either

First od all the Speiche thatcthe Website showed was lernen than the one we had to pay there at the reception. The staff has ni idea where the change is comming from and couldnt reduce it to the price from the website. Second: the room was meant to have 8 beds, in reality there were 10. This way there was not even a chance to keep any distance (corona). I had about 30 centimetres to the bed next to me. Third: the kitchen is just open in the evening. and they have a cat that they dont mention

The cleanliness was poor: moldy walls, stuff around the corridors and funky smell. The location was good. Possible to walk from the main station and surroundings full of cool cafés, restaurants and shops. After the checkout we had issues with charges to my card. Calling right away the hostel didn’t help as they weren’t solving the problem. They asked to send an email so they would look into it in a non trustworthy way. [not solved yet]

    - Really strict with the check-in. We had to rush to arrive before 11 pm and not to pay extra 5 € per person. - They charge you for towels and sheets per person even if you do not use them (if you do not read the description you will receive this surprise in the final price). - The public shower was completely filthy. Impossible to take a shower there and even less considering Coronavirus. - Old building, some problems with locks. - I would prefer not to have a TV but a better place to stay.

Shower was broken. Everything was dirty and unclean. The Pillow was missing and the staff was incompetent. Plus extra costs for incomplete sheets. Would absolutely NOT recommend this hostel! It was the badest night I had on my trip in the Netherlands.

Dirty and inconvenient hostel. They charge you more than the actual price you book on the site because they have hidden fees for linen etc. not a nice experience .

Hello, I was have such a bad time there, no hot water, other people who not live in your room know your door code and just walk in like no problem. When I order this hostel was a free coffee, tea, soup. But when I came there I need to pay for it . I'm really disappointed. Pictures are old maybe 10years. I have made some few pictures, but it's looks totally different then supposed to be. Guys for that price what they offering you better spend like few € more but you will have better room, atmosp

The hostel was the most disgusting place Ive ever stayed. I don't know how it is a functioning hostel or why the website hosts them on their site. When you enter the hostel the first thing that hits you is a smell of cats. Multiple cats are roaming the hostel walking on different surfaces. The room I was staying in was filthy with old clothes and rubbish thrown everywhere. Water was leaking into the room Other guests staying in the hostel had 'mental health issues' according to the staff.
