It was the best hostel I have ever been in. Great atmosphere and the staff is super friendly and helpful! Nice facilities, everything was always clean and the bed were confortable. The location is uphill, but you get used to it, it's not far from the main square and it kind of prepare yourself for the upcoming tours in the city. Plugs, light and curtains for every bed.

It is one of the coolest place to stay in Cusco. Staff is super friendly, always available to help and advice for anything you need to know in Cusco. They have excellent food, try the banana pancakes! Rooms and bathrooms are clean and shower si great, with great water pressure so relaxing. Overall a great place to stay in Cusco.

Like all the other reviews say, this place is high up on a hill. But, the views make it worth it. And to be fair most of Cusco feels like it’s on an incline. Just call it training for the Inca Trail (if you’re doing that while you’re there). The staff are all super nice and helpful. I even got a tattoo in the parlor located on sight (wasn’t planning on doing that when I got there). I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great hostel, friendly helpful staff and really nice beds. Unfortunately, I was sick during my stay but the staff gave me some medicine which I was super grateful for.

Supertramp has an amazing view and a very cool space to hangout at. Once you get use to the elevation getting around the city isn't a problem. The staff were helpful for whatever we needed and very friendly. The dorm room was quiet and beds were comfy and private. Try the veggie burger!

    Very Good

    11 Jan 2020
Pros - hot shower - great bunks - great food from onsite chef cons - Staff was nice, but inattentive at times. There were multiple times where I had to wait at the door ringing the doorbell and had to wait 5 minutes until someone let me in. They were often smoking and socializing instead of sitting at the desk. - Wifi was slow - Coffee was always gone when I got up at 8.

    Good

We stayed at Supertramp for a few nights both before and after doing the four-day Inca Trail hike. Based on the first nights, the rating would easily be a 9 or 10. We were welcomed by friendly staff, the dorms were really well set up, there were good views and a chilled out atmosphere… Unfortunately there were issues on our second last night - no bottled water and no running water. The water being cut off was unlucky and not the fault of the staff but could have been handled much better.

On first impressions this Hostel seemed lovely, even the climb up the hill was worth it, we were greeted warmly and accommodated even though we arrived a few hours before check in. However there was one fundamental issue during our stay - the mains water was cut off throughout the day, all night and into the next morning. This means no showers and no flushing toilets! Imagine staying in a place where you and your fellow weary, dirty, ill & hungover travelers can't wash or flush a toilet - GRIM!

Undergoing construction at all hours. A nice place when everything is working OK. In our room, the toilet was not bolted to the floor so sewage would leak in when flushed, creating a very bad smell. We complained and the staff just sprayed the room with air freshener. (She didn’t offer to switch our room and said no others were available). We’ve been without power or WiFi for 2 nights. The water has also been turned on and off. We saw “closed by government” signs days ago, but those are now gone
