Overall, it's a good hostel. Comfortable bed, clean enough, facilities are ok (acceptable, but not great), common areas are a bit small, but ok. For me, a big pro is the huge locker, witch could fit my whole bag (airplane cabin size) + small backpack. Can be loud on weekends, as we could hear people yelling at the rooftop till late at night (so bring earplugs). Location is perfect to walk to many city sights and get transport to everywhere. Nice and safe neighborhood.

    Very Good

This hostel was pretty cheap so I didn’t expect too much. The room was spacious and clean. But the door was incredibly loud. In terms of security there were lockers, but it seems one random male came into the room one night and slept in a bed without being a paying guest. Socially the hostel is ok, but there are a lot of long termers staying and they have formed a clique which as a solo traveller can be quite intimidating. Showers are run down and small.

I stayed here my first two nights in Sydney. Pros: cheap, great location (in Koreatown, close to transportation and still walking distance to points of interest), staff that I interacted with were helpful and friendly Cons: LOUD! (located in a lane way off the main streets, there’s a loud club right on the corner so you’re listening to the music all night.) Bathrooms not as clean as they could be (mold in showers?!?), common areas (roof) not super inviting for socializing.

The noise was the biggest issue. There are quiet hours posted but it was like a frat house both nights I was there.

Location was excellent but I felt that everything else this hostel delivered was run of the mill. I’m pretty tolerant with cleanliness but I did notice it was a bit dirty. Although staff are always cleaning, mostly things were in semi disrepair so no matter how clean they were it didn’t feel like you wanted to touch them. Very cliquey social atmosphere when I was there, not the hostel’s fault but it did impact how I felt staying there. Overall it was fine but nothing special.

I really didn’t enjoy my time here... especially concerning the cleanliness and the showers. I stayed 4 nights and had 4 cold showers! The toilets were dirty also. The only good this is the location ...

Hostel with a great location in Sydney and just a short walk away from the train lines. However, the hostel is very basic with minimal cleanliness - especially in the showers and toilets. The atmosphere is very dull, especially for a central city backpackers.

A perfect location for sightseeing in Sydney (15 mins walk to the opera house) . The result of this however is you get no sleep from the various delivery lorries/alarms/sirens that go off through the entire night. Genuinely the worst sleep I’ve ever had in a hostel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I could not fault them but his hostel was the dirtiest I have ever come across the bathrooms were disgusting and I couldn’t bring myself to use the kitchen. Avoid at all costs.
