I have really enjoyed my stay at Tam Coc Friends Homestay. A bit out of the town, but creates a quiet and peaceful environment. There’s a nice courtyard which I lounged in each morning. Free breakfast with several options, bicycles and motorbikes for rental, and really good sized beds! The best thing about this Homestay is the staff; the guy running it is always at the front desk happy to offer suggestions, help book transportation, and ensuring that everyone is comfortable. Great place!!

Wonderful place to stay. Superb staff, nice homemade food, excellent prices, help with any booking/inquiries/activities... the only downside would be the hot water on the showers: runs out pretty quick!

Really nice place - nice gardens, big beds and all very clean. Best thing about it is the staff. Hai at reception is a great bloke and goes out of his way to make you feel at home (and he works 16 hour days, 7 days a week!). Only downside is the showers which go cold after less than 30 seconds

Nice home stay. Front desk was really helpful. You can rent bikes cheaply to go to all the sites. It's a little bit out of town but you can easily cycle or walk, and this makes the hostel more chilled, which we were after.

The staff here are lovely (English can be limited), the food (we only really had their phò - best we had there!) and the location was lovely, just a little way out of town (only 25min walk or 10min cycle) and it meant you got to enjoy the epic scenery way more! Room was a little cold but the aircon goes up to 30C 🤣

Was there at a very quiet time. I enjoyed it. Very comfortable beds and warm blankets. It's a bit far from tourist attractions but motorbikes and bicycles are available for rent.

Cute little homestay near Tam Coc. It's a little while away from the action, so you'll need to rent a bike or motorbike to get into town (note: the lights on the main road go out at night and the bikes don't have lights). Ninh Binh is quite far away from this area, so you would need a motorbike to visit. The staff were amazing, particularly the friendly guy working at the front desk (whose name I have forgotten sorry!). This is a peaceful spot, maybe not the best if you want to meet people.

    Very Good

A bit overpriced for what you get, only 2 options for breakfast which is a bit weird. Also there is no barring around the bunk beds so stuff falls down - my pillow fell off the bed in the middle of the night! But very clean and friendly staff none the less

We arrived from Phong Nha at 4am and got to check in early which was free. When we got there we went to bed and the beds seemed wet which was gross. The whole room smelled really weird, kindof like sweat, the entire time we were there. The bathrooms were pretty gross, bugs all over the toilet, no soap to wash your hands. Owner was very nice however he did not know much about what was going on in the town. Photos show a pool but the pool is about 1km away and was closed when we were there.
