I came to this hostel because of the good reviews. It is a family run hostel and the way you are treated is completely different from other hostels. You are treated more as a friend than a customer. I had a very short stay in Vietnam sadly, but Jo got me oriented quickly into where I should go sightseeing, eat, shop, and even how to stay safe. The hostel's breakfast is different everyday. I have nothing, but good things to say about this hostel. Will definitely recommend this place 2 my friends

This hostel is incredible. I would not stay anywhere else. I came from London, and was looking for a quiet place to sleep off my jet lag. This hostel was so comfortable! The family who runs it is so lovely! It is spotless. The private room is huge, and beautiful. Great air conditioning. I also stayed one night in the dorm, and that was great too. The rooftop breakfast is homemade and so authentic, cooked by the family. Plus the location is great, 5-10 minutes walking from all the best sites. :)

Michelle and Joe (Hostel Managers) were such gems! From the moment we walked in we felt taken care of. The hostel is the best hostel I have ever stayed in! Lockers were big enough to put my 55L backpack in, the doors had room keys which made it feel very secure, and the beds had a full shelf to put belonging on which was great! They are very eco friendly which is also LOVE. Breakfast was always tasty, and the rooftop garden area was great to hang out in at any moment of the day. HIGHLY Recommend

Brand new hostel! Beds were amazing and the rooftop was incredible - such a relaxing oasis in the middle of hectic Saigon. The breakfasts were delicious (homemade traditional Vietnamese meals every morning :) Not super social, but I still met some really cool people.

Tam is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Michelle, her family, and crew of volunteers are some of the most hospitable and helpful people I’ve ever met. Not to mention the location is great, the place is clean, and the beds are comfortable. I booked for two nights and stayed for four. I highly recommend staying here!

On my first day in Vietnam last week, I had to check into emergency at the hospital. I was freaking out as they said I'd be there for at least a week, but once I called Michelle and explained, she said not to worry and that she'd bring my pack to me. In a mere few hours she was in my room with the sweetest smile on her face. Michelle, this may be my fourth day in Vietnam but I will never forget your kindness. Looking forward to being discharged and coming by for that tea! Much love
