Super central, super friendly staff and the bar downstairs has a great vibe! My only suggestion would be lockers for each bed / person in each room or lockers on site.

Pretty decent place, great location walking distance to everything in the centre, pub downstairs has live music (but not super late). Very friendly woman at reception when I checked in. Rooms were pretty standard. Only complaint is that the kitchen is short of some things, like bowls, but overall it's a good place.

    Very Good

It was comfortable and pleasant, however checking in took a long time and the front desk staff was for some reason bouncing between a large tour group (for some reason they were checking in each invidious instead of the group itself) and other guests, so in the end all parties had to wait around a bit for their whole group to be checked in, instead of one group at a time. also, the bunk beds had no ladders, which was awkward. but other than that, a decent enough hostel stay

Great hostel for staying one or two nights. Kitchen is well equipped and there is a lounge/ TV room next door to chill in. Location is perfect for exploring Hobart!

Pretty basic accomodation. You could easily do a lot better for your money. No toilet paper in the toilet, no towel tail in the bathroom, towel rail in the bedroom fell off, not very clean overall either.

Cold, damp and dark. Lovely bar but it should stick to being that.

The thing that this hostel has going for it is that the location is great. Very hard to find parking if you are staying here. Mostly paid parking. Otherwise our room was gross, there was mold growing on the windows/curtains we weren't sure if the doona covers had ever been changed. There was no nice communal area to sit in. The kitchen was basically underground and pretty dirty. If you are on a budget this place is cheap and the location is good otherwise I would avoid staying here.

The worst hostel you can find! Very very dirty. The property looks good on the outside but was worst than worse on the Inside. The beds were dirty and made screeching sounds, the kettle in the room had algae on the surface as if it has been lying there for ages. The kitchen was super dirty and smelling so bad. Apart from that being in the hospitality industry they were far away from being hospitable. Rude staff. The night staff caused me a lot of trouble before I checked in and talked rudely.
