I stayed at the terrazas del in a with my 2 daughters recently and had a wonderful time. The room was clean, secure, and large enough for the 3 of us. Maximilian was our host, and she did everything perfectly. From check in to check out, we felt like we had a wing man. I would recommend this hotel/ B and B to my friends

I loved staying here at Terrazas del Inca!! Having breakfast start at 04:30 was a huge help for us as we left for Machu Picchu at 05:00. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly- even printing out my Machu Picchu tickets for me! My only regret was not staying 2 nights here, as I was not ready to leave. Fantastic place to stay!

Highly recommend! On a quiet street - all we could hear was the river in the background. Just a 5-10 minute walk to the train and bus station. Clean room and comfortable bed. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel. We got a nice breakfast at 4:30am before leaving for Machu Picchu and they packed us a lunch for the day at a fair price. We were also able to shower for ten soles when we got back which was fantastic.

You cannot beat this hostel for its location, so close to the bus for Machu Picchu, and a short walk uphill from the train station. It is not on a street with cars, so there was no traffic noise. We had a room for 4 that was big enough for close friends, but then the staff moved us to an upstairs 4-bedroom that was even bigger and nicer. Very clean, good breakfast, a good find for the price.

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast buffet with fresh melon, yoghurts, cereal (including a gluten-free one), fresh juice, eggs cooked for you, bread, jam, olives, etc. Friendly staff. Only slight negative is it’s a bit of a slog up the hill from the train, which might be a bit of a challenge for the less fit.

Very comfortable, great showers, 5 minutes walk from train and bus. Great that they allowed us to take a shower after Machu Picchu bike for 10 soles. Lovely buffet breakfast of eggs, fruit, bread, cereal and meat and cheese.

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at this hostel. The beds were comfy and there was plenty blankets to keep us warm. There was also electric heater which we used as it was very humid while we were there. Shower pressure good and plenty hot water. The breakfast provided was very good, one of the best on our travels in South America. Managment was only too happy to assist us with anything we asked. I would stay here again.

We were overbooked and bumped to another hotel, despite having made the booking 3 months previously. That said, the other hotel was fine and the staff went out of their way to help and even put on an early breakfast for us so we could catch the first bus to Machu Picchu. However overbooking is unforgivable poor customer service. The hotel seemed OK (from what we saw of it) but be aware that if you book here, you may end up sleeping somewhere else.
