Welcome to 3 Ducks Boutique Hostel and Bar.

3 Ducks is housed in a former 18th century coaching inn considered to be a historical monument and is protected by Les Batiments de France as such. These almost 30 years serving millions of travellers around the world have earned the 3 ducks its international reputation for its lively and friendly atmosphere.

In April 2014, after two years of extensive work The 3 ducks has been rebuilt.
Thanks to the restoration of the external facade under the direction of the Vieux Paris building commission, and a complete renovation of the interior in collaboration with a renowned French architect and two graphic artists, the result is spectacular.

Today the 3 ducks today offers all amenities a traveller could expect including rooms with shower and toilet , hairdryer, wifi , safe, reading lamp with USB ports, and air conditioning, all in a uniquely decorated environment. The hostel was amazing and the bar was a lot of fun. The staff were amazing and they allowed for storing luggage on site during the checkout day.

I had a great time here. It was a really fun atmosphere with a great courtyard so you can meet others if you want or just an area to sit and have a coffee. The staff were great and super personable. The women that checked us in was amazing and can’t say enough great things about her. I definitely recommend staying here.

    Fabulous

We stayed in a private 4bed dorm with ensuite bathroom which was great but the room is super small. There was not enough space to put our bags except under the bed and if we needed something from our luggage, we had to take turns to pull a bag out from under the bed and wait for that person to finish. The kitchen is also super small but we didn't really use it as there are so many cafes & restaurants in the area.

    Fabulous

The room me and my friend stayed in had four other people and all round was pretty okay. We had the room that had the accessibility washroom so it was pretty roomy. What we liked: breakfast was great, the people at the front were friendly, the room was spacious What we didn't like: We didn't realize that this place was a bar as well so there is no quiet hour, and the first night lots of people were out in the patio while we tried to sleep. No drapes around the bunk beds, no fan in washroom

    Very Good

This hostel has a really great location, so close to trains and plenty of nice cafes, bakeries and supermarkets around. Was not set up in a way that you could meet people besides in your room, there were no common areas for hostel stayers, the bar was pretty much all locals, so have that in mind when you book. Staff for the most part except one or two workers were nice and helpful, although on checking in I was put into a mixed dorm when I booked female.

    Very Good

Really close to three metro stops (one is just 100m away) which made it easy to get to any activities. Unfortunately, the rooms are centered around the bar so don’t plan on going to bed anytime before 12:30am. The kitchen is really small with no prep space and the “lockers” are only large enough to hold a loaf of bread (plus they have their own locks). The rooms and bathrooms were great and the whole atmosphere was super fun. Was the cheapest in the area but still our lost expensive hostel.

    Good

Immediately as I entered, I was treated to a reminder of what people hate about Paris. Upon arriving, I was greeted coldly by a receptionist who seemed to hate her job (and possibly humans), as well as a long list of "Thou shalt nots" that each whack you with a 5 euro charge. After Spain and Berlin, it seemed so classically Paris as to be a satire. The place is clean and does the trick, but for the price, I suggest finding somewhere more welcoming, laid-back and fun. They exist, even in Paris!

For the price, you'd expect it to be cleaner. Looks like the bathrooms are only cleaned once a day which is not enough as the guests that stay here seem unwilling to clean up after themselves.

Our stay here wasn't very pleasant. One of the girls that attend the front desk was very rude to us on various occasions, the beds are super clunky and you have zero privacy, the hostel is literally a bar with bedrooms, there aren't any elevators, and the included "breakfast" was literally a piece of bread with jam and butter every day, there isn't a nice hostel atmosphere like there isn't really spaces or opportunities to meet other travelers, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
