I chose this hostel because of its location. It’s literally right at the doorstep of the Train and Bus Stations. I love it for the simple lay out and the no-frills environment. Will definitely stay again!!!

I had a really pleasant stay at the Beehive. The location is perfect, the guy at the reception was super nice and great recommendations on where to go for food. Everything was super clean and safe according to Covid restrictions. The only thing was that I got an email after booking saying that due to Covid restrictions, there won't be breakfast, tea or coffee and that alcohol wasn't allowed. I would have appreciated to know that before booking. Other than that, no complaints, would come again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and clean, the shower worked well, the WiFi was good. I didn't sleep well on the beds but, that's probably just me. Would revisit after the Covid 19 pandemic as the hostel and Sligo itself was a bit quiet, but, overall we enjoyed our stay.

Staff were really helpful and accommodating. Great location. Bit of a damp problem in the toilet but apart from that I’d a lovely stay. Nothing fancy about it but has the basics you need for a stop off!

The staff are nice, but I seen all over the place no loud noises after a certain time but my first night I was kept awake until after 5am due to other people staying having a wild party. I was told that I'll get a refund which i never did. As someone who will be staying once a month in sligo this place will be getting avoided at all costs. I also asked to use the kitchen area I was told I can't now because they are closing it, it was 10am. Mould around the rooms and bathrooms.
