Absolutely loved this place! Good vibes all round. Great staff, hot tub after a day on the slopes was fantastic 👌🏻. Felt luxe like a chalet but chill vibes perfect for the solo traveller. Good location either bus out the front or 10min walk to town/ chair lifts. Will definitely visit again 🇦🇺

The Bivvi is excellent. The location just outside the town center is an easy walk or drive to bars and restaurants. It is a relatively new facility with a very comfortable common area and hot tub. And without question it would be hard to find any better breakfast at any hostel internationally. As a senior traveler I highly recommend.

Great location to town and it has a bus to the mountain right in front. Parking can be tough with the snow but people make do. The town is "walkable" but the bus can bring you down if you want. When I was there, everyone was very social. My only regret was heading to a hostel in Vail instead of staying my whole time here. I think this hostel is worth driving to Vail or another mountain nearby if you are not deadset on being as close as possible and you can wake up fairly early to beat traffic.

Great small hostel about 15 minute walk outside of the main city streets (restaurants, shops) and the first base lift at Peak 9. The hostel has 3 levels of rooms - basement, 1st and 2nd floors with mostly dorm rooms. The 6 bed room I stayed in was 3 tiered. The 1st floor has a welcoming fireplace living room, bar and kitchen, plus the deck with shared hot tub. Everyone was friendly. Also the hostel sits on the primary Brown bus route for easy travel into the city if needed (bad weather, etc).

My stay at the Bivvi was excellent. The common room was friendly and everyone was welcoming. Molly was the real MVP, and was there most of the time during my stay. She was full of advice for things to do around town and how to get around. All the staff was very friendly and the breakfast they offered was perfect for a long day out to avoid spending money elsewhere. I would highly recommend this for light traveling and backpackers looking for a social and relaxed atmosphere!

The Bivvi has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Upon arrival we were given a handful of great shopping, food, and ski rental recommendations from the host at the front desk. Totally take the Brown bus line to the downtown area and to the slopes. Super convenient, best tip we got! When we had some concerns about our arrangements, the staff were happy to help and speedily solved the problem for us and took steps to ensure that the simple issue would be avoided in the future. The Bivvi rocks!

Friendly, attentive staff, great location-easy access to bus for free transport to the slopes. Facility was clean and very nice. The vast majority of guests are very friendly, but a few individuals are inconsiderate, as you'll find in any hostel situation. Overall, I'd definitely recommend to friends and stay here again.
