The staff here were so helpful, we had accidentally made the booking for the wrong night, and they went above and beyond to make room for us and give us a place to sleep for the night. The Bunkroom is literally a 5 minute walk away from the main station, and across the road from a great pub (where you get 15% off your meals if you’re staying at the bunk room).

Super friendly hostel, good location even if slightly tricky to find when coming from the train (it's off the edge of most maps, but the proprietors are very good at giving directions, as is the hostel website). Nice indoor and outdoor lounge, eating, and social areas.

Nice little place, was pretty quiet when I visited so not much of a vibe but just a 15 min walk to city centre and a good kitchen + clean rooms.

Helpful staff, a decent location (right next to train station, and 5-10 minute walk to the bus station/city centre), and a comfy bunk bed. Well worth the money.

The staff was super-welcoming! And the other guests were so nice, and gave me some of their food when I arrived late. Felt more like an airbnb than a hostel. It was a decent place to stay for one night, but I wish it was cleaner. I found hair in my bed and huge spiders in the shower. Good location next to the trainstation.

When I stay here , it is usually a good stay, adequate facilities , and a ideal locality to the rail station and the town centre. There is no security through the night, and due to this , on this occasion, one of the guests left the front door open , and also put food in the oven and then went to bed, Luckily, I have stayed in Hostels for many years, and I noticed the door was left open , and closed it. And I observed the oven was left on, and turned it off, the food was well done, (Burnt to a crisp, it

This hostel was fine for a one night stay. The beds were comfortable enough and the kitchen had all the amenities. It might have just been when I stayed here (a Friday night in June) but it felt like it was majority middle aged people and was very difficult to find anyone to socialise or do anything with, so if you were looking to meet people this probably isn't the best hostel. Wifi doesn't work in the common room
